Works great. This is our second Danby. Interior blue lighting is not too bright. Our prior Danby had a clear soft light that allowed seeing the contents a lot better.

Excellent product for my space, very nice design..

At first I was worried, I didn't this my wines were cold enough. Now I truly taste the wine at the perfect temperature.

It was fine for a couple of weeks than it started making a poping noise whenever it started up,can be annoying.

Purchased 2 Danby 36 bottle wine cooler on July 2013 from Best Buy,Both wine cooler compressor broke down/not cooling (2 months apart) short time after one year warranty period. We called and E-mail our receipt to Danby company, they said " normally their wine cooler compressor should last at least 4-5 years. They do not know why this happened, However, Danby still refused to repair (the compressor) nor replace our units. Danby management said, the best they can offer us is 20%-30% discount if we are going to purchase another Danby wine cooler from them. This product is not reliable, we do not know how many bottles of our nice wine were spoiled during the time the compressors broke down/without cooling This product should NOT have the customer Rating and Reviews of 88% We do not recommend any one to purchase this product.

Good look and good price. Not too noisy, but a cranking sound when kicking off, somehow annoying because it comes and goes quite often. More significant is the vibration, not to human but to the wine. Not good if you hold wines for long time. Make sure you buy one with the thermoelectric technology, not this one. I'm not too concerned with the temperature, don't need to go too low for me. Capacity is only 32, not 36. The bottom shelf holds only 2.

I bought this to be used as a "Beer Cellar". Pros: Very sharp looking! The blue LED light inside gives a nice ambiance. A very good value for the capacity. Cons: Analog thermostat with NO temperature indicator. I've had it on for 24 hours and I still can't get the temp within 5° of where I want it. No thermometer, but I found a decent digital one at a major store for $9. Overall: I would give it 3.5 stars. Very aesthetically pleasing. Excellent value for the price. Thermostat is frustrating to work with, I recommend getting a thermometer for it.

This fits perfectly in my dining area. Like the optional blue lighting!

It works well and looks very nice but the noise it makes is kind of annoying. It runs quietly but then makes a loud banging noise rather often. Not sure why.

Learned from the manufacturer that, despite what the Owner's Manual states, the light can only be on all the time or off all the time. The Manual says that it can be off except when the door's opened. Apparently the Manual's in the process of being updated. So if you don't want the light on all the time, look for another unit.
