Thrills, chills, and more Despair. Another episode is a spinoff of the popular Danganronpa series, and which follows a certain pair of characters, both of which related to certain people and scenarios from the first game. The game is a bridge between 1 and 2, and follows a 3rd person perspective with a focus on action rather than investigations. All in all, this is a great title in the series, and will definitely please fans of despair.

Danganronpa another episode ultra despair girls is not a digital novel like the others. It feels like a older type action game, but it is far from just an adventure game. If you havent played the danganronpa series because you dont like digital novels you probably will still like this. This game is very story heavy and the story has a lot to do with the first two games, but the gameplay is still very fun.

I have played all the Danganronpa games so it was a fun little game that added to the main narrative of the series, but for those who had never played a game in the series before, the story most likely won't make much sense. Must play the two previous games to get the full experience!

Danganronpa has never had a better written story. The game has an extremely strong narrative, and it's great to play through. The themes are heavy and dark, but some less than tasteful fanservice moments really detract from the seriousness of the game.

Daganronpa is a great series with dark humor but fun gameplay. The story is intriguing but this one isn't quite up to par with the first two installments. Still a nice game to play but slightly flawed.

This game connects the stories of Danganronpa 1 and 2. It is different in gameplay from those titles but the story is still great. Pick this up if you are a fan of the Danganronpa series

This game is set between the first and second game. It is 3rd person shooter with light horror survival elements. I enjoyed the heck out of the story and it expanded on the world that is Danganronpa. Make sure you have played he first game before you play this one. If you're a fan of the series then I highly suggest you pick it up.

Probably not for casual gamers... but this game is hilarious & fun at the same time. Never played 1 or 2... and don't have much desire since they're visual novels. Nothing wrong with getting into a spin-off of a series without knowing much about it.

Danganronpa 1 and 2 are fantastic games. They have fantastic characters, story, twists, and an interesting gameplay hook that makes the series feel fresh compared to other games out there. Danganronpa: AE flips that on its head by being a Third-person-shooter instead. And not a particularly GOOD third person shooter either. The mechanics are Resident Evil 4 - esque, but the gameplay and enemy design really isn't that interesting past the first hour or so. What DOES remain interesting are the characters. The protagonist and deuteragonist have an interesting dynamic; but that dynamic (or the story as a whole) won't mean a whole lot to you if you haven't played at least Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havic.

With not to much Vita support these days, its nice to see there are still at least a few publishers putting out great games. This is a solid game but is different than the previous entries in this series. Worth getting for fans of Japanese style games.

Unlike Danganronpa 1 & 2 which are strictly visual novels, Despair Girls changes the formula with third-person shooter elements. While it isn't implemented flawlessly its enjoyable, and doesn't detract from the fantastic story.

If you have a playstation vita and your looking for a great game then Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls is a great choice. You don't have to be a fan of the series to enjoy this one. A must own for any vita owner.

This is a fun game that has an interesting story. It's not necessary to play the first 2 games in the series, but it's helpful.

Great game, would definitely recommend. Danganronpa is my favorite Vita game series hands down and this is a great entry in the franchise. Just make sure to play the others first.

I love this series and I'm willing to put up with some subpar 3rd person shooting elements to enjoy more of the story. That's what you're getting with this game.

Very fun game and highly recommended. DON'T play this yet if you haven't played the first two Danganronpa games ( they're definitely both worth it )

Still provides the same great thrills and characters as the main series games, just with a more action oriented bent. A definite must for fans of Dangonronpa!
