tl;dr - buy this if you like visual novels and displaying your video game merch; don't buy this if you don't enjoy reading Specific to the Collector's Edition: The lenticulars are beautiful, the cloth poster is larger than I expected (which is a positive), I've not yet opened the included CD, and the design of the sleeve and steel case are beautiful for display. Very satisfied with this purchase. About the games: Danganronpa is a Visual Novel - that is, at its core it's an interactive story that puts you in the shoes of the main character. I've spent about 10 hours so far on the first game in the collection, and would recommend it to anyone interested in murder mystery novels. Fans of Kotaru Uchikoshi's Zero Escape games may find similar story elements appealing. Likewise, fans of the Ace Attorney games will enjoy collecting clues, interacting with suspects, and the logic-based action sequences involved in the 'class trial' portion of each murder case.

Get ready for ULTIMATE DISPARE!!! With Danganronpa now on the switch. One of the greatest visual novel series with an insane story finally comes to the switch. The series was once a Vita exclusive but now everyone can join an amazing series. In this collection you get Danganronpa 1, 2, 3 and a new expanded rpg game that's exclusive to the switch version. Sadly this collection is missing dispare girls a fps shooter game that i wish was here. But all in all this is an amazing package and the edition is beautiful with a soundtrack, a collectable tin case and so much more. You will love this series its crazy over the top with amazing characters.

Coming in a large display box with striking visuals this Collector's Set will make any fan happy. Unfortunately the ports of the games are a strange hodge podge of the PSP and PS Vita Versions. That makes this far from the best way to play these games.

What can I say? It's Danganronpa, not just one of the games, but all three mainline games on one cartridge! I own them on PC and the third game takes up quite a lot of space so I am so glad they fit them all on a cart and did not take the partial cartridge/download required route. Those releases are going to be the death of gaming, they are unplayable as soon as a console's servers are shut down which is terrible from a preservation standpoint. So yes I am very happy they fit them all on one cart, because the Switch has quite a few "physical" games that include a cartridge but only have part of the game and require a download. This release also includes the new game Danganronpa S which is sort of like a board game and is more of a spinoff than a new entry in the series. If you've never played a visual novel before this is the place to start, since Danganronpa is pretty much considered as one of the greatest VNs of all time, and that's not for no reason. These games are very big on mystery and investigation so they are similar to the popular Ace Attorney games. I've already played them all on PC, I would describe these games as EXTREMELY suspenseful, high-tension, and with VERY deep mysteries. They are also very replayable, something that is rare to see with visual novels. Even if you remember the story and the twists, playing one of the games again is still enjoyable because of how great the writing and voice acting is. The voice acting is absolutely 10/10 though only the climaxes of each chapter are fully voice acted, however these sequences can last for up to 2-3 hours so you never feel like you've gone a long time without hearing full lines of dialogue. The characters from each game are all unique and very memorable, you won't forget them even years after playing through the games. I can still remember and name every character from the first game even though I haven't played it in a few years. These games may not be for *everyone* but for those who enjoy them, they will agree that they are absolutely worth giving a try and playing.

All of the games run great on switch exept for part of v3, but it doesn't affect the experience too much. Everything else with the collectors edition like the soundtrack and posters are also cool to have.

Such a great series!! I’ve played it on the PS4 and the PS Vita and LOVE IT!!! Unique story and characters! Got this because I’m a huge fan of the series and wanted to play the extra new board game added to this Switch Version. The poster is made out of cloth and not paper which was a nice touch!

danganronpa is perhaps the most thought provoking franchise ever created.

Been a big fan of the series. I kinda wish I’d get a bit more goodies from the set but that’s asking too much. The quality of the items are all so great and the remix cd track list is greaaat

Haven't finished all FOUR games that come in this set yet but it's fun and entertaining. Nice metal collectors case and some goodies too.

All 4 games content were great and lived up to my expectations. The same applies for the other perks in the collector's edition

4 games included, easily some of the best visual novel games on the console. Highly recommend them.

My view at a new game I haven’t tried. I usually stick only with fighting games. But I’ve have this game a try and it’s really not all that bad. Mind you I’m actually new into this series. Never once seen a review or a walkthrough about it. Was pleased
