    Awesome set

I liked the box set. As an avid Daria fan, I've wanted this for a while. I wasn't too perturbed by the absence of most of the original music and I liked the extras a lot. My only complaint is that the box itself was poorly made. The interior contains a binder-like way to store the DVDs that has two hinges (see picture as it's hard to describe) and the bottom one arrived broken. Also, the plastic on the front was pretty wrinkled. No complaints about the content though.

Loved this show in the 90s. This was back when you had to record episodes on vhs to be able to watch them later ... I saw this as I was walking to checkout and had to grab it. So glad I did. I've always wanted a collection of this on dvd or bluray. I already have owned is it fall yet and is it college yet, but still really nice to have everything in one collection. I understood in logic, but I was disappointed they had to change the music. That stuff really bothers me normally. Especially since I watched this all the time and knew the music well. I have to say tho, they did a good job choosing music with the same vibes as the original licensed music. It is one time the music changes didn't bother me. If you were a teenager at all in the 90s, then this is probably a must buy. If you weren't a teenager in the 90s, it's still a great show. Clever, charming, funny. Holds up to years passed imo. Watch them all and decide. Besides, it's seriously inexpensive for a boxed set. Just buy it!

If you were born in the 80’s or before then you know how classic Daria was! This is when MTV was great!

After waiting years for MTV to finally secure the release of the Complete Daria, fans were disappointed that due to licensing rights, most of the period music from the show would be replaced with a non licensed incidental soundtrack. Aside from a few minor instances where the original song was scene specific, one wouldn't even know the difference. The soundtrack is seamlessly edited into the episodes. My only complaint is the edited versions of the film Is It College Yet?, which appears in a version 7 minutes shorter than the original cablecast version. Other than that, all episodes are nicely presented, and the special features are adequate. If you loved the show, you'll love this collection.

Every now and then this would come on as a re-run, but now I can watch it whenever. For those not familiar with Daria, she is a typical 1990's grunge girl who's family moves to a upper end neighborhood and high school. The stereotypical fish out of water, she is forced to deal with "Valley Girl" types including her sister. She is essentially a hipster, before hipsters were cool. The whole scenario would be quite familiar to anyone who felt like they didn't really "fit" in at their own school. Good for lots of laughs, although some humor might be a bit higher end, most can be understood by everyone.

i really liked the series. it was a spin off show from another show called Beavis and B utthead that came out in the nineties. Daria has a sister and a lunatic father and mother. the series is about daria dealing with life, her parents and her sister. she has a friend named jane who she hangs out with. daria likes jane's brother. much of the show deals with her friendship with jane and darias parents and sister. it is a well thought out show of a couple of teenagers who do not fit in with norm.

While I didn't grow up with this show, it definitely aged well. I started watching this a few years ago with a friend when we were both in college, but I never actually finished it. I was surprised to find the entire series for such a low price at Best Buy. It's well worth the purchase price and it helps put the world in perspective when you're feeling lost, something I don't usually expect to find in a show with half-hour segments.

Great quality, great value...for people who haven't had the pleasure of enjoying another great that was spawned from Liquid Television, here it is...for people who aren't familiar with Liquid Television, it was an MTV program that gave birth to many cartoon classics, such as, Beavis & But#head, The Maxx, Aeon Flux, The Head, King of the Hill, and many others..

So here's the thing about this collection: Because of licensing rights, it took them THIS long to put this on DVD. That same reason, the music isn't the same as the original. It was just too expensive to put all of the same music in the episodes. (Sometimes, shows on Netflix have the same issue.) This whole set is awesome, it has everything. It reminds me of when I was younger and it's great!

Daria Morgendorffer is a high school anti-hero, full of scathing sarcastic wit. Joined by her artistic friends, she carries on through the world of droll normalcy in her trademark style. Daria is one of my favorite cartoon series . Here is the full boat along with 2 bonus movies. Rated jaded teen to adult.

My wife and I loved Daria in its original run. Now parents of our own cynical teen daughter, we bought the set to share with her. It made for great family watching, and per our daughter's response, we found that the plots and characters are not dated at all despite the age of the series. It plays as well to modern high schooler as it did to us when it was first on.

We LOVE Daria, and were thrilled to find it on sale at Best Buy! Couldn't get it in the cart fast enough!! We've been watching it on an almost daily basis. Daria is a world-weary, highly intelligent, sarcastic teenager with clueless parents, an insipid younger sister, and a like-minded best friend. Her trials and tribulations make for great comedy. I just wish there was more to enjoy.

This release of "Daria" is missing a lot of the music. There's an insert within the dvd case that explains the situation, and for the most part, the people behind this release made sure any music important to plot was kept in. The theme song is still there, so that's a plus. There are some scenes where newly added public domain music feels a little out of place, but it's bearable. I would give it a full 5 stars, but it isn't a perfect release. It's great for binge watching or leaving on in the background. Overall, I'm happy about this complete series release because it didn't cost me an arm and a leg to obtain, and it's REAL!

Although it is a "spinoff", this series about a teenage girl is much more cerebral. If you watched in on MTV or Noggin, you may notice that some of the music has been changed because of copyright issues. Otherwise, episodes are complete and there are some bonus items (a never aired spinoff) included . Enjoy!

If you grew up throughout the 90s watching animated programming then this is among the must haves. Back when the MTV, had decent to great shows, I am aware there are nostalgia glasses on, but can't help that this show help me with the teen years.

Daria will always be a classic in my book. I only watched the first disc but all the jokes were still there and I chuckled a lot. This version of the series does not have MTv rock music in the background of the episodes. So, if you are into 1990's backup music from commercial musical artist of that time, you'll have to settle for the Daria generic theme song. Admittedly, I lost interest in the later seasons. Maybe watching them again will refresh my interest. Either way, for the cost of this item, any Daria will come out ahead with this purchase.

A lot of people get nostalgic for the children's cartoons of the 1990s, but here we have a teen oriented cult classic cartoon that stands up to the test of time. If you were ever a teenager or an outcast, you can probably identify with this show. And if not, you may enjoy it anyway.
