Even though the special effects and the acting could be better, this is a little gem of its own.

i love this movie when i was a kid and it was one of my fav's movie when growing up and when i heard it was coming out on blu-ray i was shock bc i thought this movie would never see the light of day on blu-ray it has humor and alots of action and it is very good from start to finish so check it out

If you are looking for a fun sci fi throwback, then this one's for you! It's a typical cop movie from the 80s with a clever sci fi twist.

This sci fi flick is underrated, to say the least. In fact, it’s among my list of favorite movies. For many years this wasn’t available on DVD or Blu-ray in the USA. I only had it on a very old VHS tape -- that is, until Shout! Factory *finally* released it here in 2014. The explanation of this movie in the description is so very wrong, and doesn't do it justice. This is an excellent flick: great acting (one of Dolph Lundgren’s best with him as the lead), great writing & story, and great “real” effects, before (the much faker looking) CGI. Another thing I really liked is this DVD has a reversible cover: one with the European "Dark Angel" cover, and the other with the North American "I Come in Peace" cover. I highly prefer the "I Come in Peace" title, as it fits the story more. The title "Dark Angel" not only doesn't fit the story as much, but that title's been used in too many other things (a band, 2 older movies, & a TV series). Lastly, this Blu-ray is a nice, clean transfer, with some good interviews on Special Features. Do yourselves a favor: get this before it’s not available in the USA for another 20 years.

dark angle is an awesome 80's action movie that is good from start to finish it has humor in it and a lot fun to watch i just wish they made a sequel to it bc they could do so much with this movie and tell more back story in a sequel so if you want to see an good action movie from the 80's i would watch this one

Early on in his career he was great and this is an alien movie that doesn't disappoint. Plenty of old school action
