Although the movie lost it's main character in the end, it was an excellent love story

This is a great movie. The cast is great and the locations are breath taking. The movie has an excellent plot and keeps you guessing from beginning to end.

If you were one of the people who got into The Lord of the Rings, then this is the source for much of what inspired that epic fiction. These myths provide a good overview of Norse and Germanic myth. The actors here are pretty solid people. And there are some decent effects. If you're into swords and the like you'll find it interesting. There are some twists and turns to these myths that can keep the interest of most vbiewers. To really get the most out of it, though, you'll probably need some interest in the cultures. Production values are pretty good. Acting is decent.
