Movie does a great job of showing the difficulties faced by the Prime Minister. Also showing how tenuous the will to fight for England really was.

Great film, lot's of Gravitas The depiction of Winston Churchill is both moving can convincing, captures a period in history with magnitude.

Better to buy the DVD and get the extra features than go to the movies and pay the outrageous prices - it didn't need the "big screen"

Whenever in the search for purchasing any movie or tv show, one needs to look at what it offers with it. The bonus features in this particular movie have outstanding behind the scenes featurettes but could use either more extensive ones or different ones.

A good World War 2 movie about Churchill and the early days of Britain fighting the German's in Europe. The story focus of course is on Churchill and how he manages the fear and hope of a country standing alone against Hitler's war machine.

Loved being able to view these incredible historical events in such a creatively visual way. Definitely recommend this experience.

Amazing performance by Gary Oldman. You find yourself thinking he is Winston Churchill ! Lily James always great to see, also.
