I'm a suscker for these great WWII movies. Gave Blu-ray to my kids and was able to upgrade my HD digital library movie to 4K UHD.

This is one of the best historical films I have ever seen. The characters were perfectly cast and the production sets were rich and full of character and you felt like you were in the room with them all the time. Truly a great movie!!

One of the best movies we have seen in a very long time. Gary Oldman is fantastic as Churchill. He clearly deserved the Oscar. Great story about the start of WWII and the rise of the man who would save his country and arguably the world.

It's an okay movie. I guess I was expecting a little bit more, not sure. Just glad I bought it on sale.

This is a great history lesson from the British side of WW2. Winston churchill was an interesting person and to see what he was able to in a very critical time in history.

Gary Oldman was excellent as Churchill! The story was very interesting. It was a stressful and challenging time and this movie pulls off the feeling and drama for England as they we about to face Hitler's War Machine.

Great movie; it is no accident that Mr. Oldman won Best Actor portraying Winston Churchill’s 1st month in Office as British prime minister in May 1940. Anyone who enjoys history & international affairs needs to see this movie

I thought this movie was amazing. I highly recommend you purchasing and watching this masterpiece. I was moved by the Academy Award winning performance of Gary Oldman. You can't go wrong when a movie has him in the credits.

Whether you’re interested in the story or not...this movie is well worth watching simply because of the amazing performance of Gary Oldman. He IS Winston Churchill in this movie. Well deserving of the Academy Award he won!

For our younger generation I would highly recommend this as a must watch. At 60 years of age our schools no longer teach true America or world history Outstanding picture and sound/ buy it

A brilliant must see movie covering the rise to power of Winston Churchill at the start of WW2. Gary Oldman is simply outstanding, as too is Kristin Scott Thomas as his wife.

I love factual historical movies. This movie is like witnessing the whole story. Very good performances . a must have.

Wow, what a movie. Definitely a great watch for the history buffs out there! Gary Oldman disappears into the role of Churchill (like he does in practically every role). A nice companion movie to Dunkirk.

Absolutely awesome acting performance by Gary Oldmann. Movie is a slow watch but that’s to be expected seeing the nature and content. One of the year’s best movies for the right appropriate viewer.

This was a gift for my husband who had read the many reviews just ahead of the Academy Awards. After watching it, he became a fan of Gary Oldman to get the Best Actor even though we no longer watch the show.

Didn't expect to like this movie but found it was really interesting. Wished it was an hour longer and covered Dunkirk and subsequent events. Incredible performance by Oldman.

We stream most of our entertainment, so I don’t go see a lot of movies in the theater or buy them on disk. I made an exception for this movie, really loved the acting and the story was well told.
