The Sphero is a lot of fun. It's reaches of to 14mph and has a pretty good battery life.

It's a pretty good alternative to an RC Car. I bought a Sphero and Ollie for my 5 year old son and he likes them both. The Ollie is a bit slower on carpet, but fun just the same. Once you're over the learning curve, you'll have no problem getting the Ollie up to higher speeds and incorporating tricks and stunts.

When I saw this product on Facebook I had to get two! It kept them entertained for months!

My son had been wanting one of these for a long time. The price was right so I bought it. I am impressed by all that it does. It can do more than just roll around. It does all types of tricks and it is really easy for my son to control.

Ollie is great. Battery does not last long but while in use it’s great.

Just charge this thing up and let's go. The controls are a little touchy since you are using your phone but the speed of Sphero- Darkside is amazing. I have had hours of enjoyment letting my dog try and catch it. Recommend this toy.

Got this for my three year old (and myself), easy to navigate and pretty fast and sturdy. We have the spheroSPRK+ as well and we switch playing with them together. I'm sure he will learn more and grow with it as he grows also.

This dark version is pretty cool. Lights up and has different tires you can use depending on the terrain. The battery life is excellent. The beating this thing takes is amazing, still not one scratch

Picked this up for the kids (ranging from 10 to 15) and it was fun for about a week but they soon grew bored with it. The app (or at least for us) was difficult to find in the App store for our iPad. Once you get the app installed, the Sphero was a little difficult to drive. It was neat that it gets its own little attitude when your not playing with it. We only used it indoors, as it was for X-Mas. I did end up returning the Sphero because after a week or so, my kids just put it back in the box and put it in the corner.

Purchased this for an 8 year old boy...who absolutely loves playing with this and so do all the adults! Lots of fun for everyone!

I bought this for my 12 year old son. It's super fast and very agile. It does take some learning to control but he's having fun with it and it hasn't broken yet!!

I really liked the idea of this thing, but I could never master controlling this thing with a phone screen. I think it would be a blast with an RC style controller.

Is a great hi tech rc controlled type toy, awesome tricks and looks super! A ñittle expensove, but is what my son wanted....

My husband bought the Sphero, which wasn't too hard to program, and played with it for hours, much to the delight of the kids!! So engaging!

The kids really enjoyed this for Christmas. They liked how fast it goes and the tricks you can do. Great price and fun.

Poor controls. Surface must be perfectly flat, even with the knobby tires on.
