If you like ds1 style of gameplay with with a collect it all component of sorts and a diablo like camera this is it. So far is fun music is great best in the series so far gameplay well ds1 and 2 match up of best ideas. The bad well camera is to far behind so sometimes is really hard to see also pillars and corners block your view the asymmetric style for platforming is nausea inducing as you will fall constantly fo no reason other than you are off by a inch. Now on combat enemies will surround you ala dynasty warriors. Combat is fun enough to carry so no worries about it cheap shots here due the constant enemies on display how ever. This wont deviate from the fun story well if you ever pick a darksiders before you know the affair so final thought's its a great addition to your collection fun and entertaining not perfect but what is.

I use my Switch in portable mode 90%+ of the time. My only complaint about this game is how incredible small the characters are on screen. There are times when in dimly lit areas where it becomes honestly difficult to track what direction I’m facing and that can be quite problematic. Otherwise, despite the camera angle change, this is another Darksiders game, which is one of my favorite series. I was thrilled to be able to pick them up again on the Switch, and it handles the new one well. I haven’t completed it yet, but if you enjoy the Darksiders games, or lite action RPG games driven by a narrative with a dark theme, give this a try. As long as the pure isomorphic view and tiny avatars doesn’t bother you, I suspect you’ll have a great time.

Not what I was expecting. This is not just another dungeon crawler but a pretty engaging story driven top down metroidvania elements with fun multilevel melee and weapon driven combat. Voice acting is well done and the levels although dark and brooding are well crafted and shine in the distance. Having only played the Switch version I cant imagine some texture difference from other versions but the framerate is solid and no real slow down noticable in the first few levels. Well worth it for fans of the series.

This game looks great on the switch. The devs did a great job porting this game. Soundtrack is awesome and the gameplay is packed with hack and slash, gun blazing action. The story while not great is good, funny and with humor. Great port for on the go gaming.

For fans of Darksiders like I am, this was a lot different from what you’re used to. Gameplay aside, the new style is fun. Would have gotten 4 stars, but some weird camera angles and a few bugs make it just shy of perfect.

Fun, stylish, game. Took a chance on it because it was on sale and I'm a fan of the Airship Syndicate/Joe Madureira art style. It's a fun action game, with some platforming elements, enjoyed going through it.

This game is very different than the other games in the Darksiders franchise. Combat is fast paced and fun to play. Gameplay has definitely been changed up. The bosses can be challenging!!! It runs well on the switch and I have no complaints. I cant wait to see what the next Darksiders game will be like.

This Diablo-esque game really surprised me. The developers were able to once again reimagine the Darksiders series with a top-down hack and slash shooter that's really addictive. I loved how they integrated environmental puzzles that can only be solved with the weapons you acquire as you progress through the story. It's also a very good value for the price.

Decent game on the switch. I love the multiplayer and the ability to switch characters on the fly, even with online gameplay. The controls are definitely a learning curve since it’s a new play style for the series. I like the online game play but wish it had chat, that would be very helpful. Oh and A MAP!

This game plays like Diablo III only with a nice sense of humor and storyline.I bought it because of the way the game plays and I was not disappointed I really enjoyed the comedic aspect of the two characters as they interact with each other. I totally recommend this game you should give it a shot

The graphics and backgrounds are visually wonderful to look at, but the gameplay felt more like a knockoff Diablo. You can only pick from 2 characters (I use "pick" lightly as you don't get to decide, but the game allows you to switch with your other coop player once you've played awhile) and neither character is female. I'm not sure why this isn't a four player coop game, you each use your own screen. LOTS of wordy tutorial screens whenever you get a new ability, but the abilities don't seem to build and you don't really feel a sense of leveling up. Even with the tutorial screens, there were still plenty of times we got stuck or couldn't figure out how to use an ability. In some cases the controls felt janky and we couldn't perform them.

A really fun take on the Darksiders franchise. Gameplay is excellent, but there are some weird issues with the HUD and menus glitching sometimes and subtitles being out of sync with the voiceover. Some areas have frame rate drops which probably aren’t nearly as bad on other console versions if they are present at all. Fortunately, every issue I had with this game should be able to be fixed with future updates but it’s pretty rough around the edges as of launch.

Love being able to play this game on the go. Some minor bugs need to be worked out with an update. Overall worth the buy!

Great Diablo style gameplay with an engaging story

I purchased this game for my Granddaughter and I know she is very happy with it, she can watch it on her devices without disturbing anyone else in the home and it keeps her busy if she gets bored also she can take it with her when she visits her Grandmother or spends the weekend away with friends

I like the Darksiders series of games, so I found this one to be fun. the interface is very different than other entries in the series. I found it to be quite fun once you got into it, but others looking for another 3rd person action game will be dissappointed.

I played the first two Darksiders and was happy to hear about this entry in the franchises. It plays like a diablo clone, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. That game is great, and this is quite similar from a gameplay perspective
