Game was amazing from beginning to end. Switching from strife to war in an instant and wrecking havok on demons using special attacks combined with standard attacks. Story was great, the upgrade system is also set up well. Kill demons, get souls, find coins and upgrade. There's combat upgrades for each horseman and soul upgrades that come with passive attributes, kind of like a soul tree. You can upgrade souls via store or find them by killing demons. The arena is also good to find souls and earn rewards by killing waves of enemies. Game is $40, go get it.

I've always liked the Darksiders game, and this one is cool in its own way. It's almost like Diablo, but still has some basic combos and abilities to use from the main Darksiders games. Top down view. Limited by the fixed camera angles but nothing terrible. Definitely worth the time and price until we get Darksiders 4...

Overall, I'd say if you enjoyed the earlier Darksiders games then there's a good chance you'll enjoy this one. Despite the fixed camera, it still plays like a Darksiders game. There are problems though. That fixed camera can be a pain sometimes and some of the platforming can be annoying. But it was never enough to make me quit playing the game. Pick it up on sale.

I had a lot of fun with this game. Great story telling, awesome lore, and a brand new combat style/ camera angle to boot. This is the same Darksiders you love, streamlined to a pseudo-dungeon crawler. As a person who didn’t love Darksiders 3, it was a great new take, on some of the best qualities of Darksiders.

A top action game that I can’t stop playing! It’s a different mode of play compared to previous games but it’s fun and exciting. The camera could use some work though.

Regardless of if you’ve played every Darksiders game or this is your first one, Darksiders Genesis is worth playing. The characters and combat remain fun and exciting to play even after the credits roll. While some enemies can be annoying, combat never gets dull and new items you earn along the way always make encounters fresh

Been having fun playing with my son. Good action and story ties into other games in series.

This was a cool game. It took a little bit to navigate.

Every game has been a different genre which adds to the uniqueness of the franchise and the four horseman of the apocalypse. I haven't played this solo but I had a great time in two player co-op.

The one thing I don’t like about it is it reminds you off diablo, very small characters, tiny. The rest of the game is very fun and enjoyable.

A great accomplice to the other games in the series. Dives deeper into the Darksiders story. Graphics are amazing, and combat is not overly difficult. The ability to join others through co-op or to just play single player makes the game even more interesting.

This game is a blast to play the top down camera game play is reminiscent of Diablo III game play.if your looking for a Diablo like game give this one a try.

As a huge fan of the franchise, I was excited to see their take on the twin stick shooter, but I came away unimpressed. Please take note that this is a different developer then the one that usually handles the franchise. I ultimately found the game extremely dull to play. The side objectives are also extremely taxing and offer little to the experience. I would pass.

Very good game, for the Darksiders saga fans, nice action, puzzels, levels and interesting isometric view.

Very fun game thats the prequel to the DarkSiders series. The game alone is great since your finally able to play as Strife. Highly recommend if you like the DarkSiders series.
