We got this little guy on DotD for like $10. It gets the job done just fine, and it's nice to be able to "set and forget", but it still does take a while so make sure to get the rice going at the start of your prep work. I do not have much experience with rice cookers, though, so maybe that is normal. the 2.25 cup size is fine for 2 people but if you are consistently feeding 3+ people I would get a bigger size since they are not THAT much more expensive.

My last rice cooker was too big and I wound up throwing away half the rice I made. It was also too hard to clean. This one is the right size. Easy to clean and does not take up much storage space. You can also use it like a crock pot. Come with a great recipe book.

This product is easy to use and makes great rice. It is the perfect size for our needs. A tiny bit of the coating did scratch off after a few uses but nothing more to this point. Dropping rating by a point for this reason. Still happy with the purchase.

So far I have been using this for a few months and it works great. I don't follow the directed amount of water and rice to use when making rice but despite that it works well. It may just be that I like my rice a certain way.

This rice cooker cooked my rice perfectly! sometimes i would burn the bottom of the pot when i was cooking rice but not anymore. always tastes great and never burnt.

i used it only a couple time ,, so ... it cooks rice without any minding ,, i let it cook about 1/2 hour and it started to form some crust on the bowl .. got this for the times to cook outside on the deck during the warm weather .. and was on sale made me buy ...

I like the compact size. It says that it does 2 servings worth, but I think it's a little more than that. The cook time seems a little slow, but as long as you don't over stuff it, the drive comes out pretty good for a rice cooker under $20.

The rice is cooked perfect and you don't need to watch it cook. I tried it on both white and brown rice and it was perfect each time. A tiny thing, so it doesn't take much counter space.

I can't believe how fast and delicious is the rice, it takes about 40 minutes to finish, but it worth the wait.

At first, I don't have high expectation with this little buddy. But after over a month use with various tries on both white rice and brown rice, I do like it with good results. Now, I just hope it will stay that way for at least a year!
