I like to have hard boiled eggs on hand for an easy, nutritional snack--or to make a quick egg salad sandwich. But old-fashioned boiling is time consuming, and the results aren't always the best. I bought the Rapid Egg Cooker for a friend, but decided to keep it for myself. So glad I did! Six hard-cooked eggs in 17 minutes, but the best part is the automatic shut-off when the eggs are perfectly done. Bonus: the eggs are always easy to peel! I'm also a big fan of poached eggs. Using the Rapid Egg Cooker, they, too, come out perfect each time. I highly recommend.

We bought this for hard boiled eggs in mind and must say it excels at that. The hard boiled eggs turn out perfect and peel easy. We haven't had much luck with the omelette as of yet, it doesn't cook fully. I imagine we can tweak the water added to the boil plate to lengthen the cooking cycle, so we will probably figure it out eventually. I initially saw it on QVC and the reviews were great, but BestBuy had the better price. Well worth it!

It is very easy and safe to boil an egg with this machine. Just measure the appropriate amount of water using the included measuring cup, put the egg in, and push the on button. The instruction says to use the tip at the end of the measuring cup to poke a hole in the egg first, but I don't bother doing that, and the egg still comes out fine. Poaching the egg wasn't as good because the egg white sticks to the tray and it's a little more work to clean up.

A "must have" for anyone who loves hard boiled eggs. It's especially beneficial for those of us who are busy or just don't enjoy cooking. It is ridiculously easy to use and you cannot screw it up at all!

This egg cooker can cook 6 eggs faster than I could boil a pot of water. The shell always peels off easy. The omelets are always tender and never over cooked. Very easy to use and clean up.

THIS is the coolest thing ever. We have used it several times and it works so well we are going to start using it daily! The eggs are cooked within minutes without having to boil water and wait and then cook the eggs and then pour off boiling hot water and cool the eggs....blah blah blah. Now we just use this egg cooker, within 10 minutes I have completely hard boiled eggs cooked to perfection,,,the shell almost pops off the egg (easily comes off without taking some of the egg white with it) and I swear the eggs taste better....

I bought this for my daughter. I have had one for years and it is the best. Easy to use and is accurate as far as how you want to cook the eggs. Fast and the shells fall off the hard boiled eggs.

A very good and useful gadget for cooking eggs. Clean, simple and fast. My only complaint is that the cooking light it's hard to distinguish from done to cooking. A soun or a bell would be a great help so you don't have to keep stearing at the light so the eggs don't over cooked.

It's very easy to use, and works great. And it's small and doesn't take much space.

I bought this for my husband to make his egg sandwich in the mornings. I use the omelet dish and crack an egg and use the same amount of water it says for the omelet. Comes out perfect. The boiled eggs are also perfect and peels great. No more messed up eggs. Love this lil machine!

This product delivers. I can cook my eggs for the week in minutes. Performs as advertised: cooks 6 eggs in about 10 minutes perfectly! I also purchased one for my brother for Fathers Day.

I am very pleased how this small appliance cooks eggs.The hard-boiled and soft boiled eggs all came out perfect. I would always over cook them, now they come out perfect.

This product definitely works as advertised and mad actually one of the better soft boiled eggs that i've made. The only drawback is that you have to do a little bit of trial and error before you figure out the correct water and cook time ratio. Aside from that, love it!
