I'm really impressed with this product really gets the job done

Looks okay on counter but easily stored, works okay.

Works great for making hard boiled eggs. Noticed that the eggs need to be on the smaller side or the top will not close.

I was so happy with this item that I purchased one for my niece in Portland, OR. She is very delighted with the egg maker and is very appreciative of my thinking of her.

It's way too much work for a few eggs...clean up..& piercing hard boiled eggs..piercer broke right away..just not worth the trouble...I'll go back to the old way...tks..

Great for boiling eggs. Very hard to use for poached eggs or omelets and would not recommend for these uses.

Used it for the first time today. Wow. Where have I been and why didn't I have one of these a long time ago? It worked to perfection. Simple, user-friendly, small footprint. This is an impressive appliance and along with the price makes this a must-have for every kitchen.

I purchased this as an impulse buy thinking i would toss it if i found the stellar reviews over positive. let me say that i have got WAY more use out of this handy little device over the last day than any kitchen gadget i have ever purchased. i have tried all the cooking options and all with great success. i will say that the fresher the egg the more difficult to peel but this device does help. the omelets came out fluffy and the poached eggs were perfect, too. the only option i have not tried is the soft boiled, but i have no doubts they will come out perfect. one tip: use tongs when removing the egg tray. the handle does get really hot. the person who claimed that the egg tray needs handles while the base does not has not considered the need to move the device while in use nor how hot those handles would become. I can't think of a thing the Dash needs except maybe a small chime. it does turn itself off but with poached eggs you may end up with soft boiled results if left with residual heat. The only. and i mean the only regret is seeing that the 12 egg version is Coming Soon today.

First the good news - yes it does cook decent eggs. But this thing has a major design flaw. What sense does it make (and for what purpose) to attach the 2 handle ears to the body of the cooker? Nobody picks it up with those. I bet the designers did some photo based competition scanning. Egg cookers in Europe and far east have a similar design - but there the handles are part of the plastic tray that holds the eggs!!! With that design you take off the lids and can lift the egg tray off the cocker without burning your fingers! They stay outside the device during cooking and stay cold, so simple and so effective... And one other thing - the European counterpart uses Teflon on the cooking surface - no smells! This thing just stinks (based on your water) after even one cooking cycle.
