I know I should back up my files. I'm lazy and don't. When my computer screen went black and wouldn't work, the Geek Squad saved me by being able to obtain ALL of my files and transfer them to a back up hard drive. Thank you Geek Squad. You are awesome!!

We had been searching for a way to transfer files from a MAC to a new PC. There are lots of suggestions but I didn't trust any of the downloads or mixed blog reviews. The process with best buy was so simple. We chose a back up drive and they called us when it was done. Easy breezy!!!

I think I answered this elsewhere. But, they were fast and fantastic.

I would not of purchased a new computer without this service, there are too many things that can go wrong and they make sure that you are up and running before you leave the store. They answer all the questions I had and they were not in a rush to get you out the door.

Our laptop needed to be reset to factory settings due to update errors. Geek squad was able to recover and fully backup my system. They recovered and created an external backup of all files, photos and videos. They even reinstalled all of these items back into our computer as well!

Something happened to my computer and the operating system was corrupted. The Geek Squad was able to retrieve all of my files safely onto an external hard drive, clean up some junk that was on there (virus, malware, etc) and restore the operating system. Whew....lifesavers!

Got this when I had my daughter's laptop in for Geek Squad repair. Data backup was needed so drive was included. She is using it now so that when she does something to the computer again, we won't need to recover data and programs that we had to replace this time.

I purchased the Geek squad to help back up my computer on a hard drive after the hard drive was no longer accessible. Geek squad was very helpful and retrieved my info and fixed my computer.

For safety, I purchased an external hard drive and had Geek Squad move over all information from my computer before they started working on it. It was in for repairs as I had a blue screen and couldn't do anything. Best decision ever - had to reset entire computer

I bought the titanfall bundle and after start up of the unit I was a bit disappointed that I had to download the game. My mind was quickly changed when all I had to do was hold the barcode in front of the kinect unit and the code was scanned and the download started. Great bit of technology.

I took my pc in to be looked at because it suddenly stopped responding to any keystrokes or mouse movements. I was asked if I wanted my data transferred to an external hard drive. I did and it was done very professionally. The data from my old pc is now on my newer one.

I wanted the Geek Squad to backup my data so I didn't lose anything important. They take extra care to not access your personal data. My only complaint is that they didn't show me how to continue doing this on my own until I went back and asked them to show me.

Great customer service and got the job done fast only thing they could have done a little better is shown me on the hard drive how to find files I was looking for cuz they knew I was looking for all my pictures but I figured it out not really a deal breaker

I was hesitant to get this repair done from Best Buy due to their high cost to get an old computer fixed but it was much needed for retrieving the important data. I must say that geek squad guys are good at their work but don’t expect them to provide good customer service over all.

I'm very pleased with the Geek Squad. I have had to use their service at least 3 times. Each time I was very satisfied with what they did. They're very knowledgeable and patient. When I didn't understand what to do, they took their time and explained things in terms I did understand.

I was hoping that the expensive PSP would include this item because I spent more money that I did not have. I did have to have this done. If I was not working on an important document, I would have not had this type of service and instead just allowed the replaced or repaired computer to be returned under the PSP.

This is the first time I've used Geek Squad. They answered all of my questions and were super friendly. They weren't able to save my computer, but they were able to transfer everything to a hard drive so I could transfer pictures etc. to my new computer.

Generally well taken care of with some glitches. The outlook express wasn't transferred properly and we know have to take the computer back to have that corrected. Somewhat annoying since I had asked about the group addresses, and was told they were okay. They were not, and a couple of emails sent to groups didn't go.

Geek squad tech came to set up our new computer and printer. He did a fantastic job explaining all the features of the computer and set up all programs. He was very efficient with his time and made sure everything we needed was taken care of.

The Geek Squad got rid of the virus and backed up all my data in an efficient manner. Just recently transferred all my data from our outdated Dell to our new HP laptop we just purchased from you. Excellent service.
