Very solid set with plenty of extras, but with a new 4K set out, that is likely the way to go.

While Zack Snyder has both hits and misses, this film made me a fan who at least try out anything he puts out. This remake is a thrill-ride from beginning to end. As far as this new edition, I don't own the original blu-ray, so I can't comment on the new transfer, but I do appreciate the many extras.

My son is enjoying his new game would buy it again.

Arguably Zack Snyder's best movie. He introduced running zombies for the first time. His take on the Romero classic was also very fast paced. One of the best remakes i've ever seen. Scream Factory did an excellent job with this release. I was waiting for this release for a long time. I'm glad it got the Scream Factory treatment. The first blu ray release doesn't hold a candle to this. If you are a fan of this movie, this is the version you need. Includes theatrical and unrated cuts of the movie.

Zack Snyder's Dawn of the Dead remake not only introduced the world to this powerhouse director - it is also a pretty good remake. Keeping with many of Romero's main tropes, Snyder ramps everything is his film up to 11, including the zombies. I can't speak for certain, but this was definitely one of the first films to introduce the speedy undead, and with it comes a million thrills and pinch-points. Great fun!

I know it may be sacrilege to say anything can compare to the 1978 original DOTD, but this is a well made re-imagining. Kudos to Scream Factory for another fully loaded release with great picture and sound. Check it out if you are a fan of the genre and actually want to see zombies on screen and not people arguing all the time.

This is one of the rare remake/reboots that actually work. This is Zack Snyder at his best, when he makes his movies fast and lean, not bloated with a ton of slo-mo and overly stylish shots. Shout out to James Gunn (pre-Guardians of the Galaxy) for the screenplay. Also, go for this Shout Factory set over the standard, with both rated and unrated versions and fun extras!

Looks fantastic on bluray! Sounds good. Loaded with extras. One of the better remakes to come out recently. Very worthy of its predecessor. Shout Factory produces some great stuff and this is one of them. A staple in any horror buffs collection.

This blu ray looks great with its 2k transfer in not just the unrated but also the rated cut of the film, that alone should warrant the purchase. The blu ray also comes jammed packed with interviews and other goodies. Scream Factory does another great film justice with its blu ray.

Very well made, visually stunning. Some great features on this shout factory version of the blu -ray release! Has some great documentaries, behind the scenes and both R rated and Director's cut versions of the film.

For those who love the Zombie genre this is one not to miss. May be a remake but well made and has the chills of the original and suspense. pick it up today wont be disappointed

This is probably my favorite movie directed by Zack Snyder. I never watched the original Dawn of the Dead so I can't say which is better, but if you're into zombie movies I would definitely recommend giving this one a watch.
