First, i really like the movie. Its a perfect popcorn chill out summer blockbuster. If you dont have a previous bluray of this movie id say you cant go wrong with the 4k release. It does not have a atmos soundtrack and the video is grainy ( thats the effect they were going for ) so if you already own the bluray im not sure this is worth your money.

Haven't really seen this movie since it came out back in the 90s and it looks awesome on my 4K TV. Just got a projector and looks sharp as hell. It's great to see this movie again the way it should have been seenoriginally all nice and sharp.

Like others have said, if you have the bluray already, its not worth the upgrade price. If you have the DVD, this is awesome. Some of the old quality feel is left intact with the grain thats there, but visual and audio quality is much better. All in all, it was well done moving it to 4k. Love this movie.

While it can't reach the heights of Top Gun, this Cruise follow up is still a fun ride. The 4K easily beats the old blu- ray in both Video and Audio. I only wonder how much better it could have been with Atmos audio?! Sorely lacking many special features. Recommended for viewers that are ok with style over substance

This high octane fuel race..is a great Tom Cruise 1990 film..Is still great after all these years..the 4k upgrade HDR really makes the film really awsome..The cars paint is really bright..the people in the stands are really contrast..The sky is really bright I would really recommend this 4k film

First you need to know this is only the 4k disc and digital copy only. No blu ray disc included. This is a great looking movie and will make a great addition to any Tom Cruise collection. This is just a quick overview so i think it's worth the 10.99 but without the blu ray it's your call. I just wish best buy would take better care with the slipcovers ,mine was in horrible condition.

This is just like the plot and characters as in Top Gun. But having not just the same actor Tom.Cruise along with the same writter and director from Top Gun it's not hard to tell they swapped fighter jets for race cars. It's not the greatest movie of Tony Scott but it's worth a viewing or two. The audio makes this bluray. The DTS 5.1 is very aggressive and thunders as the cars zoom past eachother. The bluray was only $4.99 in that resocts it's worth buying but more expensive then $4.99 pass. Not worth it.

The movie is great, the picture is great, Tony Scott the director did an amazing job on this, he also directed Top Gun with Cruise. However, the volume on this is really low, I had to turn my volume on my tv way up, just to hear it. I don’t know if it’s on all copies, or just mine, that’s why I gave it 4 stars.

I'd only seen this on TV and VHS. The jump to UHD-HDR was mind-blowing. The transfer is great, HDR and Audio mix are great. This is a fun movie that is overshadowed by Top Gun, but definitely worth a watch in this format.

Video looks spectacular, great 4K HDR remaster! Audio... same as the current Blu-Ray not a Dolby Atmos mix (5.1 Dolby True HD). If you own the current Blu-Ray then I might suggest holding off, but if you don’t already own it, then his is the best way you can currently enjoy this film. Atmos or not, nothing beats the sound of a screaming American V-8!!!

The visuals are a little better than the Blu ray which is to be expected due to the age of the movie. The real bonus is the digital code and being able to watch the movie anywhere you want.

this was a hilarious movie with a great cast! i cant really say much about it, its just a rookie trying to go to the big league racing, and comes across pros that don't want him there since he's new. simple right? yes but perfectly executed

Watching Days of Thunder in 4K with Dolby surround and Dolby vision is awesome, even if you don’t have a home theater, it is still very enjoyable to watch with the family or friends.

Well, is a good movie but even is a 4k still grind, on most parts, and the sound is not Atmos, ohh it doesn't have a Blu-ray disc, it's just a single 4k disc, kind of disappointed.

Im happy with the way this looks and sounds. This was one of my favorite movies as a kid and it was nice to see how it looks on UHD. This may not be great for everyone as far as the movie itself, but I recommend for nostalgic fans

As a NASCAR fan, this film was a very well made portrayal of what actually transpires in the racing teams. The husband, and wife acting couple really helped make a truly believable picture. Great action film.

Such a great action packed classic finally restored for 4K. Id you are a fan of racing or Tom Cruise you should pick up this movie and play it loud in your home theater. An absolute must have!

Its tom cruise and he drives a race car, dont worry about if he is tall enough to see over the steering wheel or not.

I've owned Days of Thunder on every format going back to VHS, this 4K is truly the best overall picture and sound to date. If you're a fan of Cruise and/or the movie I'd highly recommend it!

This is not I repeat Talladega Nights despite that being a great movie too. This is your action packed movie with Tom Cruise as the lead. Tom Cruise always delivers.
