This hero doesn't get much attention in the comics, but that doesn't hurt the content that's presented here. The voice cast is exceptional. The plot is paced well. Decent script. Another well made DC animated movie.

1st of all I collected Freedom Fighters comics in the 70's and loved the DC multiverse stories of that era (70s-80s) , As of late dc and cw feel the need to change every other characters race or sexual orientation . I don't want political agendas in my comic entertainment just fun superhero movie .

The movies was ok. I personally didn't care for it as much as a lot of the other DCU animated titles, but it wasn't terrible.

I WAS ALL EXCITED ABOUT WATCHING THIS ANIMATED MOVIE BECAUSE I'M INTO MOST OF THE MARVEL COMIC HERO MOVIES. I WAS ENJOYING THE MOVIE UNTIL I SAW THE GAY RELATIONSHIP TAKEN PLACE IN AN ANIMATED CARTOON. I WAS COMPLETELY SHOCKED AT KNOWING CHILDREN WILL BE WATCHING THIS, WHICH WILL RAISE SOME CONFUSION 4 CHILDREN; IN SPITE OF THE GREAT STORY LINE IN THE MOVIE!!

It's nice to see they have some Progressive thinkers in the DC Studios

Even though I didn't like this movie, my kids did. Only thing that matters is see in my children happy and as long as they angelie superhero movies I am a proud and pleased parent.

It was a great movie. I enjoyed it a lot. It was exciting.

Nice collection of episodes tying into the Arrowverse shows

DC needs to keep making this type of cartoon heroes movies. I love Batman and all the dc characters but we really need something like this. I hope dc keeps making more movies of heroes like this.

Freedom Fighters: The Ray is a great lead into the Arrow crossover Crisis on Earth-X. It tells the Ray's back story and hos introduction to Green Arrow and the Flash.

It’s not bad, but it’s not that great either. Way too much going on for a children’s film.

The Ray DVD was good it stayed in line with the TV show the flash and the cross overs with green arrow and supergirl. The price was great at Best Buy

I like this , and very enjoyable and touch based social issues. also I think it ties in with the cw arrow and flash but I could be mistaken.

I have seen every DC animated feature & this one was ok. I really liked that DC decided to expand on the Ray.

While short, The Ray is another fun direct-to-video DC Animated movie. The character was introduced on tv during the Arrowverse crossover Crisis on Earth X. It's an origin story and a pretty decent one at that. And just in case it might trigger some viewers - the character is gay. If you're a sane person, that shouldn't bother you and you can enjoy the movie.

I was interested in this character since the arrowverse crossover. The problem with this though is it didn’t focus on him being a superhero enough. I get the creators had to mention he is gay, but too much time was dedicated to it.

This works pretty nicely as a movie, as I think it was initially a series of web shorts. It's a fun and interesting other side of the CW-verse. The only really weird thing was that Arrow had a different voice actor for some reason. But, overall, the movie was exciting and did a great job of introducing the Ray.

Really good movie, well written and a good story. Great characters.

Allows viewer to delve into the life of Ray. Would recommend

DC Freedom Fighters is a very entertaining movie to watch.
