A fan of most of DC's straight-to-video releases, I wasn't disappointed with this latest release. The animation, as usual, was excellent, the fights were strong, and you get to see some of the characters portrayed in a different light than how we've usually seen them (especially Superman). They probably should have chosen a different voice for Wonder Woman, but not too much to complain about. While not the strongest effort, in my opinion, it still packs enough bang for your buck to warrant a buy. I'm just hoping they start releasing some films with underutilized characters (I'm looking at you Aquaman!) sooner than later.

This movie is not for young kids, but anyone who plans to buy or review this movie should have taken that into consideration before criticizing it for its immense violence. The action and fight scenes are top notch in terms of visuals and the overall quantity of it which lasts for a majority of its running time. The writing is above par which Green Lantern steals the show as far as good one liners and actually being the only character you really become invested in. Overall, a great purchase and one of the best movies out so far for the JL.

This had a good entertaining story line and had good animation. Is a repeat watcher and one of the better straight to DVD DC animated films.

Wow....what an awesome superheroes collection of fun! Great animation graphics and a wonderful plot! Long live the Justce League!

DC has been putting out great animated films as of late and this is no exception. A great translation of the New 52 Justice League Origin story. This, along with Flashpoint Paradox, is one of my favorites. Love the comedic interaction between Batman and Green Lantern. Maybe my favorite part. All of the extras are great: Jim Lee interview, Brave and the Bold, Justice League Unlimited, and Young Justice episodes. A lot of content for the money. The animation is top notch as well.

This was by far one of the best animated movies DC has put out on direct to video. The art work made my purchase a great buy alone. Not to mention the main sale point, which was that DC finally brought the characters to life. Each one was distinguishable from the other, giving soul to the animated movie that sometimes you don't even get from real movies! If this is what we have to look forward to in the future, like "Son of Batman," then I can't wait to spend my money.

It had lots of action and violence and language. Not a movie for little kids but good for adults who love comics

Instant classic. A must see. Captured my attention and kept me engaged through out the entire movie. Awesome, awesome,awesome. !

Great animation, DC always has a great way to tell stories in their animated films. Lots of great action!

My kids and I love these DC movies. Great action, and they stick pretty close to the comic series that they are based on.

One of the very best of the animated DC films. Funny, action-packed, with an engrossing story. Somewhat mature.

As you probably know this movie is based on the Justice League Origin story (New-52). One huge difference is the absence of Aquaman and the introduction of Captain Marvel in his place. I felt the character swap-out worked very well in the context of the story so don't sweat it too much.The voice-acting is very good! Buy this now and support DC's generally-outstanding efforts in these direct-to-DVD films!

Overall, it is a great movie that I would recommend to anyone that has been out of comics for a few years and want to see what things are like now. The story is told based on the remolded DC Universe following the Flasnpoint movie. That is not a must see to enjoy the movie. You get to see the characters as they are meeting and forming allegiances for the first time to save the earth in the new formation of superheroes.

Good storyline and alot of Action. This and Flashpoint were much better than I expected

I bought this for my twelve (almost thirteen) year old son. He liked it, but he says it would have been better if it had Green Arrow. He also says Superman was overpowered, which ruins the movie. It is not very exciting when one of the characters is virtually indestructible. Personally, I prefer Batman stand alone movies or the X-Men universe.

The Justice League on blu-ray? What more would I need to say about that? It's an excellent origin story with an action packed storyline. Many of the Justice League's starting lineup is here. Awesome bonus material included with this one. It's good that if I can't get to my blu-ray player I can just pop in the DVD. I grew up following comics. There's not many things better than this!

I haven't followed comic book stories for years, so this was my first introduction into the revamped DC universe. While I don't like the fact that they used different voice actors for the characters, the movie more than made up for it! It is a straight ahead, non-stop action movie, and I have re-watched several times! DEFINITELY ONE TO ADD TO THE COLLECTION!!

Pretty good although the characters can be a bit unlikeable at times. It's good to see a different interpretation of some of these classic characters. The movie is packed with some great action and fight sequences. Darkseid is a force to be be reckoned with. The picture is vibrant with a very strong DTS audio track with good use of surround and also a pretty good subwoofer workout.
