A little hard to control at first. But after the initial start up it's really fun to play. Great hack and slash with some missions pretty good replay value...

Attempting to make the game harder, by making things harder to see with how dark the setting is, is a poor design, just aggravates the person playing.

Pretty much the same as the others. There are a few new things, but it's a zombie hack and slash. It's fun to pick up and play randomly.

The apocalypse edition is the same disk as the vanilla version, but comes with a download voucher for the season pass. The DLC still needs to be downloaded, it is not on the disk.

Dead Rising 3: Apocalypse edition is awesome to play!! The zombie AI keeps you on your toes. Love being able to construct combo weapons on the fly. Plenty of side missions too.

I have never played Dead Rising games before but since this one received great reviews, I gave it a shot and have to say... I am not disappointed. ***********************************************PROS*********************************************** - Fun Zombie Killing Gameplay: Gameplay is this games strongest suit. Traveling from point A to point B in an open world while massacring zombies never gets old especially after you build some fu weapons and vehicles. - Constructing Combo Weapons: Most objects (broom, parasol, chair, guns etc.) can be used as weapons but where it gets really fun is when you combine these weapons to make combo weapons to inflict massive damage to zombies. Loved the super combo weapons. They are both fun and funny. - Constructing Combo Vehicles: Like weapons you can also combine vehicles and make combo vehicles. I loved the motorcycle-roller combo. It was amusing crushing/burning zombies using this weapon. Another one that was quite amusing was motorcycle with blades that would chop through hordes of zombies. - Humor in Boss Fights: While boss fights themselves were not enjoyable (see cons), I definitely liked the humor in them. - Okay Story: For a video game story, it was not bad. - Replayability: The gameplay is so fun, I see myself playing it for a long time. - Additional Content: Added missions/weapons add to the longevity of the game. ***********************************************CONS*********************************************** - Friendly Fire: I wouldn't mind friendly fire if AI were not be stupid but it annoys me a lot how often AI operated NPCs get into your way when you are trying to take care of zombies. - No Lockon in Boss Fights: This hurts boss fights a lot. What could have been fun fights ended up being frustrating because you can't lock onto them. Also hated some boss fight simply because you can't even see where you are being attacked from. - Conflicting Theme: The story was on serious side but gameplay was more on the humorous side. But not a big deal. Still fun. - Timed Gameplay: Didn't like this. If you don't accept side missions within some time, they are eliminated. Some side missions require you to find some items. When you are not looking for them, you will find these items everywhere but when you need them they can be hard to find killing some side missions. ***********************************************CONCLUSION************************************* Contrary to a few cons mentioned above, this game was a lot of fun. Definitely recommend it.

I'm a big PC gamer and of course PCs will always trump the graphics quality of the game consoles. I bought two copies so.my daughter and I could play co-op.

Very scary but very entertaining. I thought it would be just another shooter for zombie s but it turned out great. A must buy if you like horror entertainment

Game is good. A little violent for my five year old, but he makes lots of friends on Xbox live and learns new words, so that's why I bought this for him

Just being able to use vehicles in this game makes it 10times better. Although the characters are kind of meh, the game is pretty fun

This is quite possibly my favorite game in the Dead Rising series. So much fun stuff to do! By it for cheap and get all the DLC for free!

This adds a much large scope of the apocalypse than previous games, but in terms of actual gameplay, nothing new is added.

Game could be better just ok.The overall game quality could have more story to it.

If you liked the previous games you'll love this one too it's bigger and better and you get all the expansion packs included

The latest edition to the dead rising series. Game play is great, graphics, great.....just great game

I like how this game is exclusive and only for Xbox. This is the only dead rising game I will play

The zombies are excellent and the use of creating a weapon from two different items are nice.

Dead rising 3 is one of the best zombie games out period.

I bought this for my son and he said that is the best game in the series. Happy with purchase.
