I have been a fan of all the Dead Rising games and this is my favorite so far. The mission structure is more forgiving compared to previous versions, the weapons are fun to use, the number of zombies onscreen is impressive, and even the tedious tasks like item hunting have importance as you discover new more powerful weapons. My only gripes are that while 4 DLC Missions are included, the Co-op friendly Capcom arcade parody DLC is not. Also, there are game play elements that seem a little clunky (Vehicles!!!). Overall a worthy sequel that is mindless fun.

Dead Rising is definitely my favorite zombie-themed video game series, and this game is an excellent example as to why. There's so much freedom given to you that you can basically play this game any way that suits you, and have fun the whole time. The apocalypse edition is an even better deal as it expands the story with 4 dlc packs. My only complaint is that it doesn't have the extra multiplayer dlc that was released, but this is still a good deal without it.

So, you either like Dead Rising or you don't. This 3rd one will not change your opinion of the franchise. That being said, this one looks amazing, but I'm still not liking the controls a whole lot. However, I love the DR series, so this is a no brainer buy for me.

Insanely huge open world full of zombies! so many fun weapons and vehicles!

Open world game, killing zombies. What more could you ask for?

This is hands down my favorite game on xbox one, the open world and combat alone make it very fun. The DLC included with the Apocalypse edition is NOT on the disc, it comes with a code voucher. The DLC missions aren't really anything special, just extra missions with new characters and weapons, still fun though for the price!

This game is a lot of fun, especially with a co-op partner. The humor is there, as well as the gritty feeling of despair. Weapons are plentiful, and the crafting system keeps it fresh. The DLC is not that wonderful.

if you played the previous entries to the franchise, grab your buns because this one will blow you away with the amount of zombies on the screen and many combinations of weapons you can create

I love Deadrising 3. It makes you feel like you are actually in the game. The bosses are fun and the characters are great. Deadrising is a really good game

Definitely one of the better Xbox One games out there. The Apocalypse Edition comes with four extra stories...worth it if you haven't played the game yet.

This is a big open world type of game where you run around completing various main missions that tell a story, with a bunch of side characters and side missions to complete as well. The graphics are very good looking, and the gameplay is very solid. The mechanics of the game work very well, and the button layout for the controller works very well. The game has a co-op mode that can be played with a friend online (no couch co-op here), and there is also a 4 player mode as DLC that you can purchase. I have yet to try the 4 player mode, but I played the entire story and all of the side missions with a friend in co-op mode, and it's seamless to get in and out of a game with your buddy without interrupting what the other player is doing. The game has a very fun weapon combo creation mechanic where you pick up different items laying on the ground throughout the world and combine them to create fun and whimsical weaponry. You can also create fun combo vehicles from other vehicles. I highly recommend this game in general just as a pleasant overall gaming experience. But I especially recommend it for those who enjoy mowing down tons of zombies with fun weapons and vehicles. The story is nothing to write home about, but it's fun. The bosses are especially entertaining as they are insane caricatures of different types of folks found throughout all kinds of societies.

The 3rd game in the dead rising franchise full of new combo moves, bosses and combo weapons. Great game if you like to kill zombies.

Good zombie game, if you've played the others you know what to expect. Graphics are great, gameplay is good.

Dead Rising 3 is a departure from the previous games in the franchise but despite being less colorful it is as much fun as ever (and so many zombies!). While there are starting to be some really good "next gen" games being released Dead Rising 3 is still one of the best/most entertaining. Totally worth picking up.

I find the Dead Rising saga very enjoyable. This is as good as the second one.

It's better than the 1st 2. I've had a lot of fun playing it.

Who doesn't enjoy killing a screen full of zombies.

Great & Fun Game plus includes Season Pass for DLC

The one thing I hated about the original was the escort missions, they just felt very annoying to me in that it was a great risk getting the person back to your safe house alive, thankfully the NPC's are much better now and the crafting (weapons and vehicles) is awesome. This is a must have for Xbox One owners.

Dead Rising 3 remains one of the finest system exclusives between this latest console generation. It is definitely a must buy if you have an Xbox One.
