No time limit and loads of great weapons! Dead Rising 4 is the best in the series!

It's more of the same, but that's not bad...

So if you've played Dead Rising 1 or 2, this is pretty much the same thing - this kind of feels like a current-gen expansion to DR1 if anything. This isn't a bad thing given how much I enjoyed the first couple of Dead Risings. If the game is on sale for sub $35, then it's definitely worth a buy.

It's a lot of non stopped zombie killing! Everything can be used as a weapon.

I saw nothing new here and the game looks dated.
#1 Graphics 6.5
#2 Gameplay 7
#3 Story 6
#4 Replay 6
I felt the game was a bit rushed and not a whole lot changed. I still had fun with it but got bored after a week of playing. Get it when its $20 bucks or $30 at the most NOT at $60.

So with the changes made and the new importance of certain features the same old dead rising formula is there. Kill zombies to level up. Find blueprints to build weapons so you can kill zombies faster. Make vehicles so you can kill zombies faster. Sometimes safe someone. rinse and repeat.

No more timer, meaning there's time to explore everything this game has to offer, and it has a whole lot! There are lots of side quests in the form of survivors, collectibles, etc. Frank West, the main character from the first game, has returned and he reminds me of Bruce Campbell from Army of Darkness and Evil Dead.
I like all the Dead Rising's and this is the best one.

Pretty on par with the other Dead Rising games. It's not really a story centric game but it's fun to go around building ridiculous weapons and massacring hordes of zombies. The gameplay tends to be pretty buggy sometimes which is unfortunate but it got worked out with updates.

Funs and great game to 100% many things to do. If you are going to 100% achieve this game there are bugs and ways to lock your self out and may have to replay the entire game 2 times. maybe more.
Multiplayer was rushed and cheap not a fan lot of grinding. co-op was removed / not used for the main story like the other games before it.
But still a good game

I've long been a fan of the Dead Rising franchise and its wacky over-the-top gameplay, and this one doesn't disappoint. This is one of those games I recommend if you are looking to just have fun with none of the "pressure" to maintain a respectable K/D ratio on certain shooters.

Right away the game brings back a lot of what the first and second game did very well I did not play Dead Rising 3 that shouldn't stop you from buying Dead Rising for the game seems to work well on its own and the minute you put it in you were already engaged in its gameplay

Personally, I really enjoy this game. I know a lot of people tend to dislike the game because of the fact that there is no timed gameplay.
That's one of the things that I actually was looking forward to. I always felt way too rushed in Dead Rising and Dead Rising 2.
Plus, I love Christmas and zombies so this game was apparently made with me in mind. Haha.

This continues a streak of great fun in the Dead Rising Game family. There is nothing better than hacking and slashing away at zombies. A nice change they made to this game, which is a departure from previous, is that they got rid of the countdown timer. This way, you can do any/all of the side quests at your leisure. This only adds to the zombie bashing fun!

Purchased the game hoping for a great story line and it came up a little short. I was also expecting the survival to be more difficult than it was. Not a very challenging game, still fun to play with a group of friends

It's dead rising... not much has changed from this one and the previous one besides the story and character... this one does seem a little smaller tho and starts with an infinite mode instead of the standard 72 hour mode... still fun tho!

I was surprised that this game is actually Good,a Big Graphical Improvement since part 3 but with The Xbox one it took a long time to load overall I had fun with this Game but wait til it's discounted at a $30 price.
