Not for everybody, but if it’s for you, you’ll love it. This is definitely a game you should research a bit to decide if it is for you. It’s too much to try to write out in a small review, but I thought it was a great experience overall even if it takes a bit to get going and I personally see it as way more than the delivery driver simulator some would have you believe it is. Check it out sometime.

The Game is CRAZY GOOD when it comes to Graphics and Gameplay. ITS WILD How Good the World looks on the PS5. Gameplay does kinda get monotonous But the advancements you get an places you go are just wonderful. Definitely Worth a try

What a strange game. Exactly what i expect kojima to create when its not tied to metal gear
Its somewhat of a walking simulator but the strange story and crazy graphics make me not want to put it down. At the current price i think im getting my monies worth.

This game had so much hype around it from legendary game creator Hideo Kojima. But unfortunately it's a game that's hype ultimately was more impressive than the game itself. It's so obvious that Kojima really just wants to make movies, but got stuck in the video game medium. He's made some of the greatest games of all time, but he's a really awful storyteller and Death Stranding is the epitome of Kojima's hubris. The game is a far cry from the Metal Gear titles and focuses on a half-baked mechanic and another convoluted Kojima story. The Director's Cut, which isn't really a director's cut tries to remedy some of the issues people had with the lackluster gameplay. It's a better experience, but not by much. There's a reason the sequel isn't going to be a Sony exclusive. It took them way to long to make their return on investment back on this, and for good reason. Kojima did his best work when he had the corporate overlords at Konami telling him to stick to a schedule and budget. On his own, with full creative control, you get a "game" that's full of ideas that aren't particularly executed well. That doesn't mean it's not a game for everybody. There are certainly merits to it, and the walking simulator gameplay is likely fun for a good amount of people. But it was very amusing when the game was released, and Kojima's biggest supporters had to pretend that this was the game they were hoping for. I'd bet my bottom dollar that the upcoming Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 outsells the original and director's cut versions of this game and for good reason. Konami was probably right to fire him. I got this game with Best Buy's $10 deal. And honestly, I feel like that was probably about $10 too much for me personally.
