In today’s era of remakes and remasters it’s hard to determine which remakes stray from the beaten path, and which ones stay true to the source material. MGS Delta is as faithful as they come. It’s literally the exact same game with prettier graphics. Well, besides the control scheme, they changed one thing to be more modernized, but other than that it’s the same. If you liked MGS3 and want to relive it with modern UE5 technology, then get this. Oh and there’s an Ape Escape crossover again.

The jungle classic back in HD glory—beautiful to look at, though the framerate sometimes sneaks slower than Snake in a cardboard box. The revamped controls are a lifesaver, and while it keeps every quirk of the original, that’s part of its charm. A must-play for veterans and first-time operatives alike.

The updated controls are intuitive, responsive, and much more accessible for modern players without compromising the tactical stealth elements that made the original a classic. It’s a perfect blend of old-school challenge and new-school polish. The Tactical Edition is also packed with extras that fans will appreciate. Whether it’s the behind-the-scenes content, the enhanced camouflage system, or additional items that cater to both newcomers and veterans, it feels like a complete package that respects its legacy while pushing it forward. And of course, the story remains as gripping and emotional as ever. Big Boss’s origin is told with the same depth and gravitas, now enhanced by better voice clarity and cinematic presentation. Updated gameplay and graphics to a story that has aged well. Play this game! -1 star because the price is so high for such a short game. You can finish it in about 10-15 hours. It has great replayability but I've bought this game like 5 times now? I think the graphic overhaul and the fact that they brought back some of the voice actors to rerecord some UI functions along with updated gameplay to match something similar to mgs5 makes it more worth it. Tactical edition comes with a bunch of dlc outfits which are really fun. I recommend the sneaking suit!

This game is amazing. There were issues reported week one that were fixed via updates within 2 weeks. However, I never experienced these issues myself. There is a lot of replay value especially if you are a trophy hunter. im on my 5th playthrough now, picking it up every other month or so. Theres even an agent hunt game mode at the very end where you have to sneak-shoot a bunch of apes from the old Ape-Escape games.
