Great game! Bought it on sale and its worth it! A combo of metroidvania and souls like gameplay.

This game is a lot of fun and not a terribly difficult! Highly recommend it!

Death’s Gambit isn't the best game on the market, but it is far from the worst. It plays great, but also looks and sounds great. Beautiful spritework and animations, with a souls-like feel. I know that’s an easy statement to make, but it really does feel like a 2D souls game, mechanics and all. I’m not the biggest souls-like gamer, but I think it’s a bit different in 2D as it gives more of the familiar metroidvania feel. For me at least, this draws me more into the game and makes it even the slightest more accessible. If you are into anything I have stated above in gaming then give this one a try, you won't be disappointed.

This game is great i really enhoy the combat, exploring, the setting, the art design. Very fun to play and challenging

Really fun yet a bit challenging game. The combat is fun and the whole aesthetic reminds me of dark souls but in classic metroid/castlevania form. Additionally I enjoyed the nice extra goodies it came with. I very much recommend this game if you every played Blasphemous and Hollow Knight.

Game is excellent. It is a long game that is very engaging and fun to play. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and exciting title to gifts to another or play for themselves

A challenging Metroidvania with a moody feel and music. It has a very intriguing story but combat is not as fluid, still an awesome experience.

Death’s Gambit is the modern model of what the Castlevania series should have evolved into. With dozens of weapons, several character models to choose from, and the benefit of modern gaming mechanics, it is a superb example of what happens when developers listen to what gamers want. It’s ideal for anyone who wants a challenge and is looking to put 35-40 hours into an adventure. Highly recommended all around.

Very intense gameplay with action and platforming mixed in between. Definitely a pick up and play game

Awesome game. I had this back on PS4 years ago and I really liked it but it did have issues. Hopefully this has all of them ironed out. Also you get really awesome stickers and a giant poster included, really neat stuff since I bought this in sale

Any fan of metroid-vania's will love Death's Gambit, and its light horror vibe help it stand-out amongst 2D action games. I had a blast with this one!

Great 2nd platforming with great looking pixel art graphics. Anyone who loves this game genre will enjoy this game.

Great metroidvania game. Fine addition to any gamers collection

Never played the vanilla version, but this is great. The pixel art is nice to look at, the music is a little lacking, the difficulty is high. The system of upgrading and leveling is somewhat complex but fun. would recommend.
