This movie gave me a good idea of what these people go through on the oil platforms and how dangerous the job is.

This is a pretty enjoyable movie. Maybe better as a rent and watch than an own. I've only watched it once since buying it a year ago.

Great movie to watch that will definitely keep you entertained for all of the Viewing. 4K all in all five gold star Quality.

Pretty good story line. Decent amount of action packed in movie..

This is a nail-biter. Even though one may know what's coming if they followed the news when the event occurred it still packs a wallop. The mostly accurate telling of what went down for how things went up grabs the viewer early on. Well drawn characters engage in tense, often reserved and rapid dialog that lends an aura of realism to the proceedings. The image is full of fine detail and color. The 4K made me almost feel the mud on the actors. Sound-wise there are no shortcomings when things go BOOM.

Mark Wahlberg and Kurt Russell pair up in this excellent disaster movies centered around an enormous oil rig, based on the true events from the april 2010 real disaster that brought attention to the dangers and safety issues surrounding the big oil rigs. I was glad to see Dylan O'Brian <maze runner/teen wolf> spread his wings in this engaging and riveting drama! GREAT CGI and special bonus features as well!

Dad loved this movie it was one of his favorites before he passed away. Transaction was smooth with free fast shipping.

This historic environmental catastrophe recreates the chaos that happened in the Gulf of Mexico, and offers plenty of fiery sights and sounds. The Dolby Atmos track provides one of the best audio experiences, notably the helicopter scene where the team gets to the rig, as well as some of the drilling sound effects.

Really shows how Corporate profits override any concerns for the lives of the workers.Kurt Russell and Kate Hudsons first movie together was cool.Mark Wahlberg is on spot as well.Great Disaster Movie and it did not preach Anti Oil.The effects are top notch and the sound is really immersive with A Home theater set up.

To know this movie was based on a true story, made me appreciate, and highly respect every worker who follow the quality standards on a daily basis! I also send forth my deepest condolences to the family members, who lost loved ones during that unfortunate time, for they were our unsung heroes!

Very well planned out storyline of the events and very well done theatrics for the movie. Great Movie.

I liked this movie the second time I watched it more than the first. The visual and audio quality was superb and if you liked Patriot's Day or Lone Survivor, the style of the way the movie was filmed and plot unravelled was very similar to the other 2 movies, so you should like this one.

Mark Wahlberg was absolutely awesome in this movie, as he is in most of his films. This true story event had me at the edge of my chair. The colors and sounds via my home surround theater system made watching this film feel is though I was at the actual theater. I definite must see film!

As the students in my class learn about how they’re leaving through history made daily; we had to see how the environment, including the oceans are our legacy for years to come. This tribute paired well with Patriot also with walhberg. My students and I didn’t understand the families and dangers involved behind the BP Oil Disaster

Movie delivers the sounds......remember when spill happened, awful tragedy

The movie was very interesting from the start ... and really reveals the greed of some of the international oil companies to the point of sacrificing safety and the environment. 4k Blu-Ray HD brought it to life!
