one camera would not work at first,it finally decided to go to working,there was no operating instuctions in box,camera's stop and start on their on.they are not reliable.

Overall happy with this system, if you are not technically inclined then I would suggest looking for something that doesn't have as many tweaks and just works out of the box.

Very easy to set up. Awesome day vision & good night vision. My husband wanted something to watch critters that come to our pond at night drink. He is very happy

I bought this system because we recently had a couple of thefts in my neighborhood. My neighbors had two bikes stolen, another had a GPS stolen from their car, and another had an expensive pair of sun glasses taken. I wasn't about to wait for my turn to come up! I needed something quick and easy to install. This system was great because I didn't have to run video wires all around my house which saved a lot of time. My cameras are between 50 and 150 feet from the receivers and the wireless signal is strong. Sure enough, two days after installing my cameras my car window was smashed and all the change taken from my car's ash tray! Luckily we caught the act on camera and were able to identify the person. Since it was at night, the night vision sure came in handy (although night vision is in black and white). I just finished the setup for seeing the cameras on my phone and it was easier than I expected it would be!

IT DOES NOT WORK. IF YOU CALL THE COMPANY, YOU WILL NEVER HAVE ANY ASSISTANCE. I BOUGHT MY CAMERA IN DECEMBER 2014, TOW OUT OF THE FOUR STOP WORKING ALREADY. I CALL BESTBUY, THEY WANT ME TO CALL DEFENDER, I CALLED BUT NO HELP. PLEASE DO NOT EVER BUY THIS CAMERA SYSTEM.

Do not buy this brand unless you have alot of free time to wait for support to get back to you. You can only request a call back. Since that has not yet happened (only available M-F 8a - 5 EST time) - can't comment if it is helpful when/if it happens. Manual (only available online) and instructions are absolutely ridiculous - especially the "1 step" internet viewing setup crock - good luck with that if you are not an IT professional - no apparent access by ipad or android. Product is complex and potentially outstanding but with fraudulently over simple instructions and no accessible support persons, this product is useless if ANYTHING goes wrong - and things have gone wrong!. 1) One of two camera "modems" has no power (must ship back to get one that works). 2) Again, screen is all static - cause unknown - and previously successful "re-install" process no longer fixes this - so, no picture at all (just static on the 2 quads that were working). My wife tricked them by calling "Sales Office" and got authorization to send back defective component (we pay the freight?!) but no other info, apology, operational insight...for that we have to wait for our "ticket" to come up to get support for all the mysteries and non-working issues. Remote control is pathetic and on screen menu is un-navigatible - may as well be in greek as it has no instruction, guidance or inutuitiveness.The setup DVD would be humorous if it wasn't so aggravatingly over-simple and useless. Really disappointing.Could be rated a 4 with solid support and useful instructions/manual.
