I am giving it 5 stars because the sound is awesome, but we had to return our first one because after almost a month the sound just stopped working. When returning it to Best Buy they convinced us that this has never happened before and that this was a very high end sound bar, so we decided to give it another chance especially since the warranty is actually 3 years!

Love this soundbar. Definitive is the go to brand for high end wuality gear.

I have the full size Def Tech soundbar in my livingroom, so I thought I would give Mini a try. It is mounted on the wall just under a Samsung 55". Great combo. Plenty of kick and clarity for the space (16' x 18'). I am very happy with this system.

I'm enjoying the quality sound, but it was the small form factor that sold me. I'll be buying another one for the guest room.

This sound bar replaced my 5 speaker surround sound and it sounds great. Definitive Technology did a great job with this one.

WOW!! What a system!! Can't go wrong for the $$ Blue tooth capable. That means you can play from your phone ;) LOL Really, the sound id fantastic!

We are first time sound bar owners. Best Buy people were a help on selection and Geek Squad really helped with the set up and understanding how to use. Very pleased with the new system.

Room-filling sound in a small package. I was almost literally blown away by the sound on this sound bar. It arrived with volume maxed and accidentally pushing the sync button during setup played the sync sound at the highest volume. It's nice to know how loud this sound bar can get, but I won't be using that much power any time soon. I think my ears are still ringing. The sound overall is well balanced when connected to our smart TV via HDMI ARC (HDMI cable included). The system comes with a remote control, but can be controlled by the TV in this configuration so we haven't had much use for the sound bar remote once everything is set up. There's also a fiber optic cable in the box if you should need one. Between Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, wireless connectivity is taken care of and the sound bar can be connected via ethernet if your router is nearby. There's another HDMI input and a fiber optic port to match the included cable if you need it. There's also a USB-A port, mostly for powering other gadgets, I believe. For me, setup was as simple as plugging in the sound bar and subwoofer and running an HDMI cable between the ARC-capable ports on the sound bar and our smart TV. It couldn't have been simpler and the improvement over the built-in sound on our TV is remarkable. The only odd part of the experience was connecting the HEOS app. Apparently there was a software update available - which took a surprisingly long time. Other than that, setup was 100% smooth and we're enjoying vastly better sound from our TV. We've had other sound bars in the past and find the sound out of this unit better than any other we've had in a much smaller package.

Will rock the room for such a small sound bar. The imaging ifor movies and music is excellent. Don't wait get one!

The only downside i have is I wish the subwoofer was a 10” or 12”. Other than that the sound that comes from this is amazing.

Love the sound for movies, and the dialog button is fantastic I can hear talking over the explosion, or car racing etc.

BEST feature of the soundbar has to be the size. It's small but definitely packs a punch!

Not work for 5.1 only good for 3d sounds, compact good for small spaces

it is ok. I do not believe it is worth the price (799 on sale). The mid range is muddy unfortunately as this does have very nice sound. However, this is being returned and I will just invest into a good receiver and separate speakers. That is truly the sound I want and no matter how much this and BOSE sound good, 8-1700 dollars is better spent on true components. I am listing this as a recommend for use as a sound bar

Recommended by an associate. Purchased another brand previously. Very happy with the sound quality. Never heard of the brand but I am very pleased.
