I reviewed all of the speakers available in a semi-reasonable price range. Bought the 9020 series and paired them with D7 bookshelf series. So glad I did.....this speaker does not need any additional base that the 9040 and up have. The D7's pick up what little might be lost in the upper two.....as I am strictly a channel fan the atmos/dolby top speaker didn't interest me.. I paired this up with a Yamaha S801 amp and Pro Ject Debut Carbon Esprit SB.....incredible vinyl combo. All purchased through Best Buy.....great people and service!

I got these on an incredible Black Friday sale. I have never had a really good home theater system before. I have had some pretty good ones before but not like this. my friend who was a DJ says that he thinks that this system is better than the theaters. With the Definitive center speaker I have 4 powered subs. I couldn't be happier with this system.

I debated between these and the BP9080s. My home theater room is about 20x18 so its not huge and I was worried the BP9080s would over run the room. I decided to go with the BP9060s and I was really glad that I did. These speakers dont break a sweat filling my room with clear and precise music or sound tracks without blowing out the windows. They have a very nice high and mid range response and because the bass has its own control you can add as much bass as you like. I am very pleased with the speakers thus far.

The brand is really good. The quality of the materials and the quality of the sound is really GOOD.

I was originally going to go with a Klipsch system but didn't like how they sounded very bright. I listened to these at my local Magnolia and I was blown away! I bought these primarily for watching movies and TV so I wanted something with good bass. The Dolby Atmos speakers are a + since a lot of content on Netflix and iTunes are starting to support this format. I will still be looking for a good sub to complete my system but these towers are a great start.

The clarity and range is impressive and far superior to my previous top of the line Bose. My family and friends want to watch tv/movies nowhere else, but in our theater room. I couldn't be happier, unless I were to get the 9060s of course; slightly out of my budget.

I demo'd everything in the magnolia room then I bought 2 of these towers. I bought them primarily for watching movies. The sound I was looking for was when T-rex roars on Jurassic park movies or anything that shakes at a theater, that's what I wanted at home. I currently have these in my living room with 18 feet high ceilings. I was worried they wouldn't sound good in my living room, but they sound great and fill the room with sound. They shake the entire house when the right movie scene is on. My mother in law said go to the movies for what, we have that right here lol! I can't wait to put these in my media room they will sound much better then, less space to fill. My fiancé loves them as well, she connects her phone to the receiver with blue tooth and listens to music while she cooks/cleans the house. I purchased a Marantz 5011 receiver with these towers incase anyone is wondering. I recently purchased the center channel speaker, the 9060 can't wait to get that.

Incredible speakers! I set up a sperate system in the house as just a 2 channel system. These do the job with ease. Once you have them set up correctly, they image like you wouldn't believe. The bass is very controllable for those who want more or want less. The mids and highs couldn't be better for a speaker in this price range. I honestly just can't say enough about these speakers. Give them a listen before you buy your next pair.

I use these speakers with TV, DVD's, Music and my computer. They have excellent sound quality no matter what they are used for. Top of the line. They fill the room with quality sounds of the total sound spectrum. I would highly recommend them.

They Sound Amazing! After adjusting my Denon stereo to perfection. I am getting the bookshelf speakers next.

I thought I wanted bookshelf speakers until I heard these. I've been using these for my L/R mains (along with a DT Center) for a few months now. I was blown away from the start but after moving this to my new HT basement setup and going back to my Klipsch bookshelf/center I've been using for 10 years in the family room it was ridiculously obvious... these floor standing just sound so much more true to life for movies and TV. Music is more clear and detailed than I've ever heard in my own home. I have these paired with a CS9060 center and SVS SB2000 sub and some sides and rears in the ceiling for a full 7.1 setup and could not be more pleased. The bass output is probably enough for most. Unless you have these in a basement or are far from neighbors it's hard to imagine most people needing more.

I've owned my towers for a little over 2 years and have loved every minute. I'm a vinyl nut and these speakers produce the clearest and most balanced sound in it's class. When watching movies they are paired with the Atmos that I added to the towers and the 960 center channel and 980 surrounds, with a pair of old B&W's that serve as my rear atmos. I also added a Pro sub 1000 for a little extra punch and the Def Tech surround system will draw you in and immerse you with theater sound. The big LG Oled certainly helps complete the experience. Servicing the Def Tech products is easy as well. I had to replace an amp for one of the towers and even during the Covid they got it to me in a reasonable period of time and it took 20 minutes to install and I'm back up and running. For the period when the subwoofer amp was out for the one tower I used the Pro 1000 sub in its placed and re-tuned the system and thought we had it pretty good until the new amp came in. Oh how glad I am to have the twin towers back. I almost forgot how sweet a sound they produce. I would strongly recommend Def Tech to anyone that is serious about sound quality and now I have the service aspect to back them up as well and that's what prompted me to right the review.

not perfect but nicely made speakers sounds just about right...love it
