This is a great entry level center channel. Gives a good crisp clear voice and gives that extra little bass needed for watching movies or TV.

Great sound and fills the room but expensive if you can ger past that its a good above average speaker

So I was really lucky that my Sony center channel speaker failed as I was able to stumble across this center channel speaker. It truely changed how we watch/listened to TV. Our theater room size is approx 40' x 15' and we have a 7.1 Pioneer Elite receiver head-unit. I was about ditch the center speaker for a ($800) passive sound bar however, the "on the floor" sales guy in the Signal Hill Magnolia Room really knew his stuff and convinced me to reconsider. The highs, mids and lows from this center channel are crisp and clear. The bass radiator compliments the sub-woofer nicely and vocals are brought to the forefront much more than before. Distant vocals-say someone talking in a movie from down a hall, at a distant, or background dialog are much more audible. We were able to achieve a more realistic theater audio sound simply by adding this center channel. The only con is the unique size-It is larger than most receivers-but I'm still giving it 5 stars as I am really impressed.

Too wide for my space. I wish it fit because it was the best sounding center speaker I’ve heard

These speakers sound great and with the sub woofer built in it helps eliminate the need for separate subwoofers taking up room in your house.

Provides powerful clear / crisp sound without distortion. Slightly taller than I was expecting but the sound makes up for it.

This center channel is a bit large, but the crisp sound is incredible. Really a great piece with the 2 tower speakers.

I have two def tech Tower 8020 tower speakers I got years ago. While they sound great and put out plenty of bass Voices always came in a little low. The center speaker fixed that. I can now hear the voices clearly and the left and right speakers are able to produce the surround sound like they should. If your looking for great speakers without the top of the line pricing definitive technology should definitely be on your radar

I really love this product it sounds very good I am glad I bought it I would recommend it to a friend. I bought it on sale and I think the value was very good for the money. I was a little hesitant but after I went to the store and noticed that it was on sale I bought it. If I had known that it sounds so good I would have bought it before the time I did.

Voices come through crisp and clear, more like a movie theater experience

It goes best with the DT Tower speakers. I got this in a bundle with Tower, super impressed

I've had the 8040 series speakers and decided to upgrade to the 9040 series this year. This center channel looks fantastic and has the sound quality to match, even at low volumes. Definitive Technology has great build and sound quality. You can't go wrong with them!

I am really picky about center channel speakers. I can never hear speech clearly with other products I’ve purchased and I’ve been disappointed. Fear not!!! I am extremely happy with this center channel speaker. I have a table under my Sony 75inch TV that I have placed my center channel speaker on. Theater chairs about 10-12 feet away. Clarity with speech is incredible!! Would highly recommend!

I purchased this replacing an aging center channel speaker infinity cc3 while it's been my favorite for over 15 yrs the bp9040 won my heart it has more Dynamics and better clarity and blends seamlessly with my bp9020,bp2x,and pro monitor 1000 for a full Definitive technology setup
