These are great and they rounded out my home theater system. Works great with definitive technology 9040 floor speakers.They connected effortlessly into my BP 9040’s. I was surprised at the heaviness of each module.They’re built very very solid and fit very seamlessly into my 9040’s. In fact, I hardly notice them visually because they literally become part of the tower speaker. Then I had to break out the microphone to calibrate my system.The A 90’s sound fantastic. My room has a 9 foot ceiling, and the sound bounces quite clearly to my sitting position or nearby adjacent positions in the room.

These speakers truly make a movie sound come to life.

This pair of Def Tech Atmos speakers are a perfect match for the 9020, 9040 and 9060 bi-polar speakers. The sound quality, fit and finish and well thought out design make this a perfect choice.

First off, I’m a huge DefTech fan. I have their towers, center channel, surrounds and even their outdoor speakers. All are absolutely amazing. But I returned these speakers. I debated for awhile on whether or not to get these based on mixed reviews. It does what it says it will, it reflects sound off the ceiling and down to your listening position, to make it feel like you have in ceiling speakers. Is it amazing? Not really. Is it worth $600? Nope. The tower speakers these attach to are bipolar, as in they have two woofers and a tweeter in front and one woofer and a tweeter in back, facing the rear. This bounces sound off the wall behind the TV and reflects out giving a nice full sounding front stage. The problem is that this bleeds over to effect the sound coming off the ceiling that these speakers try and create. Do you get good sound positioning? Not really, it gets muddled out. I decided to just get some in ceiling speakers instead and ran all the wires. The sound is WAY better, better fullness, better sound locating, etc. and since I’m renting and leaving these in the ceiling, I just bought some 8” ‘s off Monoprice for cheap. They work like a charm!

ADDED DIMENSION IN THE SOUND STAGE OF MY SYSTEM. LOVE IT! EXTREMELY EASY TO ATTACH TO MY DEF TECH BP9040 SPEAKERS.

I recently purchased the Def tech Bp9060 floorstanding speakers, Even though they sounded great i still felt like something was missing, So i purchased the add on A90 Dolby Atmos Def tech High-Performance height speakers, I purchased the Speakers from Max in Magnolia, Max was very helpful and gave great advice and top notch customer service, I am very happy with the speakers they sound fantastic, I will be recommending all my friend's and family members to shop at Bestbuy from now own.

Perfect fit on top of the 9040 towers. It also moves the speaker wire to these down to the back of the towers for a nice clean look.

Purchased these to go with my 9060 speakers. Easy connection overall great sound. Still getting use to the atmos but it does what it was suppose to. Overall very happy so far.

These are the best looking and sounding toppers on the market. Def Tech knows what they are doing. Clear and punchy sound when this bad boy is paired with DP9000 towers.

I went in to the Magnolia showroom to listen to the BP9000 series and settled on the BP9040 series (which to my ear was most pleasing). I did A/B comparisons with and without the Dolby height speakers and was pleasantly surprised to the depth they added to overall listening experience. I have also added the larger center channel speaker, 2 rear channel speakers in addition to the towers with the height speakers (and an existing sub). Using for movies is unreal and the ability for great music reproduction is there too. It’s now an amazing system for sure.

These things rock. Awesome looking on the BP9 series. You can really hear the Atmos sound. Another solid speaker from DT!

These speakers are a great addition to my Def Tech 9020s. The ATMOS sound is fantastic. Easy to attach to speakers.

Love these speakers! In the house I had the ceiling ones and those were great, but in new apartment, I couldn't wire for ceiling speakers and got these and they are almost as good as true ceiling speakers w/o having to wire anything in walls/ceiling. Great buy!

I have thr 9060's so it made sense at tje time to buy these to add instant Atmos playback, but ceiling mounted would be the optimal route to go. These work, just not blown away by them.

When mated with BP towers these height speakers are truly the cherry on top! I have my Denon processor set to use these as front Dolby speakers and they really add depth to the sound field. Play a movie with Atmos sound, and you will love it! Very happy with this purchase.
