I added these to my def tech speakers. As an FYI - the purchase of "one" includes both speakers. They sound great and give the true sound. However, they only work with Dolby ATMOS recordings, which are few and far between. Also need equipment (DVD player & gaming system) that supports Dolby Atmos.

I paired these with the def tech center speaker and the red tech small towers. It sounds amazing In my apartment. I can blast it and have that full sound or turn it down to not disturb my neighbors and it still sounds full and amazing.

If you purchase the tower speakers from Def Tech, you absolutely MUST purchase these toppers!!! These speakers add such a huge sound difference, you must experience it. A wonderful addition to the towers!

I purchased definitive technology products earlier this year and saw the A90 speakers on Black Friday sale for $299. Bought them and installed them, fit and finish is neat. Listened to them through an Atmos demo and didn’t notice a huge difference or improvement. In all honesty, I would have returned them if I had purchased at full price. Great system without them. Floor speakers are the BP9040, center channel is the CS9040, and the sub is pro series 1000. Rear surround are Yamaha, receiver is a Yamaha Aventage RX-770. Room size is 20’x14.5’, 9’ ceilings.

Definitive Technology Speakers are the best and I would recommend them too anyoone.

THESE ARE A MUST ADDITION TO YOUR SPEAKER PURCHASE! The sound that your speaker is now able to produce with these puppies are worth the investment. I recommend shopping around though, they're quite pricey new. Find open box, or used of you can. But do your system some Justice and add them as soon as possible. The fabric that covers them is a bear to clean, so don't let them get too dusty.

This was a really great option for me since it would not be easy to run wires to the back of my room. I recommend this if you are buying the towers. Set up is simple; plug and play.

The A -90 is an awesome addition to the Definitive tower series. The treble sounds are crisp and definitive. You can hear symbols, high hat like never before.

Seamless integration, outstanding product. I can’t wait to buy another pair to complete my Dolby Atmos setup.

After participating at a demo in our local Best Buy store, my wife and I decided to purchase a new surround sound system, AV receiver and speaker set. We are very pleased with the quality of our new system.

I’ve heard some not do great things about this speaker and while I have nothing to compare it to (real in ceiling speakers), IMO it was worth what I paid for it (sale price). I did have to increase the volume on this channel to hear them better.

I had high hopes because I did not want to have surround speakers, but these just did not work as expected. My ceilings may be too high? I am purchasing a different receiver before potentially returning. I love the speakers themselves and they fit so seamlessly, but these do not seem to produce much sound for most things. Where I could tell was during Ready Player One, a movie that shines with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. As more content comes out these will be nice, but few things especially streaming have the audio to take advantage of these right now. If watching off DVD, BR, or something that will process then yes.
