Great sound and value. Due to the small size it is the ideal installation virtually anywhere without having to do any modifications.

I picked this up because I wanted a more compact center channel to fit under my tv, what I got was one that also sounded better, especially on the lows. Great speaker.

At the time that I started building my surround sound system, I was younger, and couldn't afford the whole Definitive Technology setup. So, I've been piecing it together over the years. This was my next step, even though it should have been one of the first steps! I can't believe how much I was missing with this! The dialogue is so much easier to understand now, and it fills in a lot of the other pertinent sound effects in the front part of the system. This center channel is definitely worth it's weight in gold. I find myself having to turn the volume down now because this thing does such a great job! All I have left now to complete the system is to replace my two front floorstanding Sony speakers with the Promonitor 800's, and I'll be set!

I had a Polk center channel with definitive fronts. Struggled with voices for years. Speaker is a perfect match with my fronts and I wish I would have done this years ago

very good center channel speaker. This is my second Def Tech center channel. The other lasted for 15 years and I decided to upgrade to this. Works well with the Promonitor series from Definitive if you want better sound than from a sound bar.

I purchased the Procenter 1000 with a pair of ProMonitor 1000's. These Definitive Technology speakers replaced my Bose AM7's and very satisfied with the sound quality. The ProCenter 1000 speaker provides much improved audio quality over my AM7 center channel speaker while watching movies since the Def Tech provides a wider audio frequency range. Speaking dialogue during movie playback is much more intelligible. If you are looking for a center channel speaker to add to your current speaker array or are coupling the ProCenter with other Definitive Technology speakers, this is a good choice.

I needed a good quality center speaker for my system, and only had a fire place mantle to set it up, this is a small speaker that fit and sounds amazing in my system.

Great sound quality for a great price. I paid $127 for it as a Christmas special. I have this in my living room paired with a couple of Martin Logan bookshelf speakers and it does a great job for filling in. I was a bit skeptical because of the price and size but I am very pleased overall. Voices are full and I have had no issues hearing it during movies. I wanted to get the Martin Logan center but it was not in the budget so this suffices for now.

Definitive Technology speakers in my opinion are one of the best sounding speakers BestBuy has to offer. You can walk through their store and play around with their dinky little displays but they all sound pretty crappy on the floor. Go into a Magnolia listening room and ask to here these! Honestly sound better than a lot of their "high-end" setups. Purchased around 3 months ago and have given them quite the break in period and they've only gotten better over time.

We went with this speaker because of its size. We needed something that would fit in our bookshelf. It puts out some serious noise.

First I will say that I did return this product but the why I did was the important part.... It was because it blew me away at what this little speaker could do. I originally purchased it to replace an older center channel that I needed to fit into a small height. Once I heard the sound I could help but go all in! I returned the single center channel and replaced all my system with Definitive Technology speaker package and I am estatic at the amazing sound, found myself to using it more than I ever had before!

I have a modest 5.1 system in my bedroom, also I have a dedicated Home Theater in my living room, I was using a small Energy Take 5 Center Channel, it sounded good and clear, but I wanted something with a little more Mids, but I also have space constraints , these fit perfectly, with larger drivers, I found these at BB Open Box, great price, installled and ran my calibration, now I notice a more fuller sound coming from my Center Channel, happy with my purchase.
