Q: Can this be placed on tile floor underneath media cabinet?
A: I am not a sound guru but I have learned a few things over the years with setting up various systems. While you could place this on the floor underneath the media cabinet, i would not place it directly on a tile floor. I believe it would sound much better higher in your media cabinet too.. The closer you can place it to the same height as your head when you when you are listening to it the better I believe it will sound for you.
A: It works very well for music. I play music constantly hardwired and Bluetooth and both are clear with very little distortion as you peak the volume.
A: Sure. This would be fine for that. Just make sure that after you hook up the speaker to your receiver that you run your speaker setup again to balance everything out. This would be connecting the little mic that should have come with your receiver and following the prompts to run through the setup again. I have it hooked up to a 7.2 system and it works very well for me.
