This speaker is great. The clarity in listening thru it is great. All voices are clear and we can understand them. The quality of sound in the bass and the appearance of it enhances our theatre system look.

I have the pro monitor 1000 for my left and right and the pro monitor 800s from my surrounds. I was waiting on this purchase they have been out of stock for months. I noticed the difference in sound between my other center channel speaker immediately. Don’t hesitate great purchase. Too bad they weren’t on sale. Lol

I replaced my Definitive Technology Mythos 7 surround back speakers with the ProCenter 2000 speakers and I could hear a substantial difference in the sound. I highly recommend these versatile speakers.

I've had this for a while now, and I am completely satisfied with the sound. Makes dialogue easier to understand than my ancient Creative Technology bar, which served me well.

Tinny and small sound. Customer service can only advise you to adjust crossover. Nothing helped. Returned the item.

Bedroom system. 5.2.2 Atmos configuration. Deftech ProCinema 800 with 2 SVS 3000 Micro subs replacing the single Deftech. The Procenter 1000 center always sounded a little anemic and I was never able to get the crossover settings quite right to provide for seamless surround effects. Sony STR AN1000 receiver and Sony 75" X93L mini-led display. I am a fan of timbre matching so wanted to upgrade the center but the options were limited. It was basically replace my center with the Deftech 2000 or get a new system. I like the Deftech system for the smaller room size so decided to take the plunge. Swapped it out and recalibrated the system. Put in Top Gun: Maverick for the test run. Not going to talk measurements and other tech here. Subjective observations. Crossover hit the mark perfectly and sound continuity from front, height and rear speakers was superb. Dialog was a critical factor. Wife has a bit of hearing loss and we use subtitles a lot. This center provided crystal clear voice and significantly more bass and front soundstage. I know that we all want to like new purchases and I am no exception. But I was really surprised at how this little speaker performed. It will of course not be a match for a large room and a main HT system. But with the advent of empty nest (a true Godsend!) we watch most of our movies, TV shows, etc. in the bedroom on the system we have set up there. My main HT is huge and powered by an Outlaw Audio 7900 (7 ch. @ 300wpc) with Marantz 7706 pre-pro, dual SVS PB12-Plus subs, Mirage HDT Speaker System (LCR [OM-5s for L&R and HDT-F for center], SR, SL, SBR, SBL [HDT-Rs]), etc. A room shaker to be sure. But the bedroom system has become our go-to HT, and the Deftech ProCinema 2000 center channel speaker was a bet that paid off in spades. Highly recommended.
