I purchased this item when it was on sale. I love the sound quality and the size is perfect for my space.

These speakers are great. Read several reviews before going to BB and then listened to several other systems in the Magnolia Studio before deciding on these. I'm using them with PM 1000 front left and right and a CT 1000 center channel and a Velodyne 10" front firing sub. System is very balanced and sounds great in the family room where I have it set up on a Denon AVR 1277 7.2 receiver.

I'm using these as rear surrounds in a 5.1 set up. Couldn't ask for more. Excellent sound, small enough to be discrete. Love these!

I love the sound of our new speakers. It is such a quality sound for such a small speaker.

When my wife and I set out to buy new surround sound speakers (we have a 7.1ch Denon AVR-1611) we had our minds made up that we would be getting a Bose system. When we arrived at the store and asked for the Bose, the salesman asked if had considered the Def Tech system and let us listen and compare and HOLY MOLY! The Def Tech system blew away the Bose! Incredible range, deep bass tones, rich & crisp mids... It sounds just as great in our home as it did in the store!

I bought these speakers to serve as rear surrounds in my 7.2 system. They are serving its purpose. The sound is very clear and I am getting the true immersive experience with Dolby Atmos source material.

This is an exceptional product. I highly recommend this speaker. We cannot turn them up very high because they are so loud and clear.

I bought these to replace some small Sony speakers and they are awesome. Have a really full sound and great bass for their size.

I was running 14 year old JBL's for a 5.1 system. I was looking for an upgrade. I started researching and Definitive Technology kept coming up. So, I went in for a listening. I was impressed. But, I knew that the acoustics in the Magnolia room was a lot better than mine. I purchased the 5.1 system although the towers have subwoofers built in I wanted the stand alone sub. I'm using the pro monitor 800's for my rear and I couldn't ask for better. Now I'm setup and enjoy the sound immensely I would recommend.

Those guys sound absolutely great for their size. I have limited space so these seem to be the best choice if you need great sound in a small package. Paired with a ProCenter1000 and the 800 Sub (and some older Polks to make it 7.1) they sound so much better and give a much fuller sounds than the Polks alone in 5.1. They are giving a much warmer sound and cover the full spectrum nicely. I wouldn't want to push them too much with the lower frequencies so I set the cut off at 100Hz and the sub does the rest.

I got these to add them as middle speakers for Dolby Atmos, I already have mythos 5.1 system from definitive technology, this is tonal match, it is mounted using the mounting kit from definitive technology also. Acoustic set up was done using pioneer elite sc 85 AVR Mcca pro software. These speakers are very good for price, my mythos system is 12 years old and this speaker match them sonically. I would recommend them for any home theater system.

Bought two of these Pro Monitor 800's that were returned to BB still in their original boxes. They were marked down to a point that I could not pass up. They were unused and in perfect condition. I have these being used in my game room in a 7.1 surround system as the front L&R speakers. I am using them with the Def Tech Pro 600 surround speaker system and match perfectly. Great speakers without breaking the bank.

After nearly 30 years of service, my old Polk speakers (of similar size) needed replacement and the Best Buy home consultant recommended these. They are slightly larger than my previous ones and the Geek Squad did an excellent job of installing the mounting brackets and new speakers on my living room wall. Sound is fine and I look forward to many years of superb sound quality.

These "smaller" speakers have great sound. Make no mistake they are packing a punch. When you hold one you realize that there is awesome sound in there. They are actually heavy, heavier that I thought when I first bought them. It took me some time to decide between these and the 1000 series bookshelf speakers. They are a bit lighter and the bracket that Definitive Technology makes just doesn't look that strong. Just thought it might be better fro my needs. Awesome little speakers

I purchased these to replace my surround speakers. The sound quality is great and I love that it has a good base sound.

These sound great! Using them for surround speakers, running them with the ProCenter 1000 , 2000 supercube, D9 bookshelf and they absolutely add to movies, video games and music! You feel fully submersed in whatever your listening to. I have multiple DefTech speakers and I haven’t been disappointed by any of them!Would absolutely recommend!

Decided to put a 5.1 system in a spare bedroom. I chose to use 2 pair of Def Tech 800's for the front and rear L/R speakers along with the Def Tech 1000 center channel with a Pioneer subwoofer. The sound for music and movies is excellent, especially in a small room. There is something to be said for having matched front and rear speakers. Overall, very pleased with my purchase.

Love these speakers. Mounted them to the wall and the surround sound is even better. Totally worth the money!

I use these as my Dolby Atmos height channels and I have them mounted to my ceiling above my main listening position. I had been using some older speakers before and the addition of these significantly enhanced my entire experience. They match well with meh Bowers and Wilkins fronts and have a lot of presence, even in the limited time they are used for Atmos.

Mounted 4 of these to my ceiling for a nice 7.1 surround. Put out great sound and quality. Even when listening to music on all channels these are a quality complement to my floor speakers. Highly recommend for a high quality surround speaker that doesn't take up a lot of space. They make special mounts for these speakers that are great as well.
