Decided to put a 5.1 system in a spare bedroom. I chose to use 2 pair of Def Tech 800's for the front and rear L/R speakers along with the Def Tech 1000 center channel with a Pioneer subwoofer. The sound for music and movies is excellent, especially in a small room. There is something to be said for having matched front and rear speakers. Overall, very pleased with my purchase.

I use these as my Dolby Atmos height channels and I have them mounted to my ceiling above my main listening position. I had been using some older speakers before and the addition of these significantly enhanced my entire experience. They match well with meh Bowers and Wilkins fronts and have a lot of presence, even in the limited time they are used for Atmos.

Love these speakers. Mounted them to the wall and the surround sound is even better. Totally worth the money!

Mounted 4 of these to my ceiling for a nice 7.1 surround. Put out great sound and quality. Even when listening to music on all channels these are a quality complement to my floor speakers. Highly recommend for a high quality surround speaker that doesn't take up a lot of space. They make special mounts for these speakers that are great as well.

These have a great sound and a decent price. Does not come with wall mount.

I had Sony surround sound speakers that were half the size. I had those for about 17 years. These speakers are so much better. The sound quality is insane. I don’t even need to have my sub on . Although I do but I really don’t need it with these speakers. Very happy with the purchase of these speakers.

Tough to review surround speakers but I have a Def Tech setup and wanted to keep it in the family when purchasing mountable rear speakers. Great sound and very easy to mount.

I’m using it with my new TV LG CX, it makes a big difference when watching sports, movies and videos games! I’m using them with a Denon AVR. When you put on a movie you seen multiple times, guarantee you will hear things you could not hear with theses speakers.

This set of speakers completed an upgrade to my HT. I'm glad I decided to go with this set over the 1000's, as they would have been to big. The ProMonitor 800 pair nicely with the ProMonitor 1000, you can't go wrong with this set of speakers. I was skeptical at first but after much research I am very pleased with this purchase. Enjoying our two Definitive Technology ProMonitor 800 4 1/2" Bookshelf Speakers. These are coupled with our ProSub 800 8" subwoofer and sound good in our family room. They were easy to mount on the walls and we really enjoy how they sound.

I bought these along with a Polk subwoofer to replace my 35 year old system including a pair of Klipsch kg4's. I never thought I would find something that would sound like what I had, but I think I did. As small as they are, combined with the subwoofer, they sound great.
