I used these brackets for my klipsch quintet speaker set. Works great!!! They are minimal in deisgn, doesn't occupy much space, and are almost hidden behind the speakers. The speakers can be moved in any direction, compared to some other brackets, in which speakers move in only one direction. This helps in rearranging the speakers in any direction we prefer.
A small disadvantage is that the mounts don't come with the screws to mount it on the wall. This may be ok, because which screws you want to use depends on what kind of wall you want to mount these brackets.

I bought some Definitive Technology - ProMonitor 800 speakers and the sales rep said these were what I needed to mount them to the ceiling. I opted to go with the metal instead of the plastic. They were easy to install and adding the speaker was a snap. Great product.

This is easy to install and it makes it easy and clean when mounting your speaker. I mounted my rear Definitive Technology spears with this mount. It worked perfectly.

I really liked these. They were great for installing my satelite speakers. I took a star off for price. Similar units are available from other retailers for a much lower price.

Well constructed bracket. Easy to install. Used to mount Polk S10 speakers which are fairly heavy with no issues. Once tightened the speakers have not moved.

These pro mount 90s are replacing a pair of plastic mounts that were purchased at Wallymart. Needless to say my wife and I awoke to a loud bang and found that the plastic mount cracked in half and my def tech pro monitor 800 was laying on the floor. I promptly bought these pro mount 90s and they are perfect. made of heavy duty metal and most importantly, they dont allow the speaker to bounce or move. If you have def tech speakers, do yourself a favor and do it right the first time. Don't go cheap like I did and wake up to a speaker on the floor. Oh, and my speaker works perfectly fine. Def tech makes quality products thats for sure.

I've relocated my DefTech speakers to a new home and this time instead of using the default mounts, thought I'd go with the ProMount 90s. My only regret is that I didn't use these mounts in the last house! Super easy to install and my speakers haven't budged a millimeter since hanging them 3+ months ago. I used monster cable speaker wire in the wall and was able to route the speaker cable through the center hole of the mount (behind the ball) and made my connection to minimize the amount of wire I can see. I'm very satisfied with these.
If I had anything negative to say about them, I wish they came with their own mounting hardware with screws/bolts that had a head to match the beautiful finish of the mount.

I'm not a good DIY person. but I had these installed in less than 15 minutes. I like the materials, and the fact that there is a lock nut to help prevent it from coming loose when we abuse the speakers!

These brackets are very simple and pleasing to the eye. They do a great job of keeping speaker in place and haven't needed readjusting since installation. My only gripe is that these are specific to Definitive Technology speakers - no one offers a generic bracket for their speakers.

I bought this after reading many positive online reviews, and I'm quite pleased. I purchased them to mount the surround (rear) speakers for my Energy 5.1 Classic Home Theater System, which are just about 3lbs each. The brackets were very easy to install, and the fact that they pivot in many directions makes them very useful. Although the specs say that they're good up to 10lbs, I would probably suggest going with an even sturdier bracket if your speakers are close to that weight limit. But for the average surround-sound speaker, say 5lbs or less, these are very good.
I would recommend this to a friend

I got these brackets to mount my new Def Tech ProMonitor 1000's with.
I liked the design of them and the build quality seemed fine, so I purchased them. After a few adjustments to get each speaker pointed exactly where I wanted it, I tightened the bolt down to secure the articulating position.
Returning to the room later, I noticed that the speakers were pointed downward, now aimed at the floor. Not where I intended them to be. After several failed attempts to get them to stay in place, I finally went to the hardware store and got stainless steel nuts and bolts to replace the poor quality fasteners that clamp the ball.
Problem solved, they are rock solid and stay put, exactly where I want them. I love them now.
I would have rated them 5 stars if I didn't have to replace the bolts that came with them.

I love articulating ball mount. Easy install and very well built. I would normally build my own, but the value to performance of these outweighed my cost to fabricate.

Metal and adjustable. Seemed a bit expensive but work great. The screw mount is apparently a universal thread size. Worked great with Martin Logan motion 2 's and 4's.

I coupled these mounts with my Def Tech pro monitors and they work great. They are sturdy and look good. Plus, the range of motion is perfect for properly aiming your speakers.
