We bought a full set Definitive Technology surround sound speakers to compliment our Denon 7.1 system and it makes a HUGE difference, allowing for the rich, deep bass tones to sound through. If you're in the market for a sub (or speakers) the Def Tech products are the way to go.

Took some adjusting and settings to get it work well with my other sub but after a few days I really started to love the sub. Does not work well on a hardwood flooring without it sitting on some carpet. The passive bottom firing radiator will make the sub dance all over easily. Especially with scenes in the movie "Interstellar" Its well built and I kinda like the side mounted volume control but I think it would be better if it was top mounted. Its exceptional tighter than my 10" ported sub its paired with when it comes to lower end bass

The setup was easy and a couple of different options... This is not a big sub physically but plays well and the bass is tight and accurate... Musically I would opt for a bigger sub but if you have room constraints that don't allow a bigger footprint this is the way to go. I hooked it up according to the instructions on how to get the best sound using a couple of extra wires but, it was well worth the effort. Great sub at a great price and I feel it has great value... The average person will love this sub.

This sub produces good punch, especially for its small size. This sub has a sealed enclosure with a "low bass radiator" on the bottom. This setup can cause the speaker to "hop" around at high levels when placed on a smooth surface. I use it in my 5.1.2 system. For my taste, it is excellent for home theater, but not as enjoyable for just listening to music, as I prefer a ported sub for music listening. Overall a solid choice if you need a sub in a small space.

This woofer is incredible! Solid lows that can shake the room with ease without being "boomy." The side volume adjustment is really convenient. I'm extremely impressed by how great the sound is from such a small box. DT hit the mark on the design of this woofer.

I purchased this sub expecting a lot and I got it. Great tight sound thumping sound that doesn’t let up no matter how high you go. Nice legs on carpet so it doesn’t move. Clean looking box and design. Great prices for what you get.

Purchased this to go with my older Definitive Technology Cinema 600 mini monitors in a 2.1 set up. The deep bass belies the small footprint of the subwoofer.

This sub is very easy to use. You can use either a coaxial sub cable or your standard Black/Red wires to connect to your receiver. It has a nice dial on the side to increase/decrease bass levels. It has a power on/off toggle button and a little red light lights up when power is on letting you know when the sub is ON. It goes into sleep mode when no music is playing. I mainly bought this for its small size and high output.

I have what I would call a dedicated amateur's ear for home theater sound. My brother (who definitely knows his way around this sort of thing) pointed me at this sub. It seemed very small to me when I first put it on the floor. After calibrating I have been very impressed with the sound this little guy puts out. If you live in an apartment or condo as I do any more power than this sub has would be overkill. I strongly recommend it.

Excellent small 300W speaker. I reconfigured my media room and had to replace a monster 300W Boston Acoustic sub. This did the job. No difference in performance. Half the size.

After buying a new home tv and stereo system at best buy, decided I needed a woofer for base. glad I got this one. Great bass and adds to the system

This was a little bit of a pain to hook up because the instructions werent very clear, however it sounds great once finally figured out how to hook it up.

I bought this to replace a sound bar system with a wireless subwoofer, what a difference! It sounds great and fills my entire man cave with a deep rich sound

Packs an incredible punch for the value. I was set on getting a 10” sub if not a 12” but this 8” speaker really impressed me at the store and was even better once I got it home

For an 8" sub, they pack a powerful punch. The bass is deep and strong. They won't keep up with a 12" in terms of overall listening volume but they certainly will play as deep and have a tight and quick bass experience.

I bought this to compliment my procinema 600/800 set up. I now have two 800monitors and this 800 sub along with my procinema600 sub &monitors. Everything sounds great. No complaints. I do believe this may be overpriced at 400$ though. I think 300$ is more appropriate for the sound it provides.

I needed a small compact ( good ) sub and this absolutely fits the bill.l'm mostly using this for a 2.1 stereo music system and it has more then enough bass for a sm.to med. Size room.Added bonus is I got it on sale for 300.00 bucks instead of 400.00.
