Bought these to replace a KEF C4, which fried. Really like the auto-shutoff feature. After moving it around and tweaking the volume, it sounds fantastic. Very punchy bass. If I had the room, I would buy a second one.

Good sub. Clean, accurate, small footprint. If your looking for thunderous bass this isn't for you. That being said, the best money can buy in this price range. It's the second one I'm using

This DefTech ProSub 800 is a good subwoofer although it did not fit my application. I wanted an 8" sub that would be used in the LR to fill in the bottom end to my ceiling speakers. This is not a HT room and is mostly used for listening to music while entertaining or working around the house. In order to really get the bottom end, I had to turn up the volume and the sub bounced across my wood floor. Don't get me wrong, this sub is really great musically...it just did not give me what I was looking for.

Purchased this 4 years after having the ProSub 600 Series. It is definitely more bass and the lows sound fantastic with the rest of the surround sound!

Great bass from this small box. Packs a punch! Sounds amazing. Only thing needed is something to out under because of how much bass it packs it glides on my floor.

Very impressed with the tone of this sub. Plugged in thru the high input and using the output to power my rear surround speakers. Nice deep bass with no biz and low profile made it perfect for my space

I bought this as replacement to another 8" subwoofer. The sound is great and the size great for subwoofer since it is not intrusive or overly large for rooms where space is limited. For instance, this great for a living room that functions primarily as a living room with a home theatre system being secondary. However, it's power is less than my previous subwoofer, but then again this subwoofer is 30% of the price, hence, the tradeoff. For an exclusive use theatre room, where compact and inconspicuous size is not important, I would not buy this and rather go with a more powerful subwoofer, albeit larger footprint and put it in the corner.
