Smaller sub woofer that puts out great bass and easy to install and use

I purchased this subwoofer with a reward certificate and basically got at $300 sub tax free. For the price and ease of use this sub is a good 7 out 10 on clarity of bass and fulfills my space's sound well. I'd like to see this one be slightly cheaper but i like the way it performs.

Bought as a replacement for a Polk Audio sub that failed after several years. Have other Definitive Tech items that have all performed well. This is no exception.

A 7.2 set-up so I have two of these and they work great in tandem. A smaller room set-up so they slam very well. They Don't get to the lower subsonic freq's but for me that isn't an issue for now so it's all good.

sound is fantastic, it looks great and is compact.

This is a wonder subwoofer! The bass is phenomenal and floor shaking! Must definitely be given enough space to decrease reverb. No blocking furniture around it or it does sound muffled. The volume control is on the side and is great! Biggest con is that there is no off switch so it is always "on"... Over all I would rec it.

This makes movie night at home feel like surround sound at the cinema.

Great addition to my entertainment system gives me the powers and quality to music and the TV I am looking for .. Love it if you need quality power... Get it !!

Great solid bass and easy to configure. Great value.

This sub is great. It has good power and provides great "BOOM" while watching movies, etc. My last sub burnt out and I am very pleased with this unit. Another very nice feature is that you can adjust the sound level on the side of the unit.

This thing shakes my entire house! I have to put it at 50% volume just to avoid making my roommates/neighbors angry. The kick it has when watching movies is phenomenal and still holds up splendidly for high bass music.

I added this to my stereo system (only music no video run through system}. Paired with Definitive Technologies SM55's and Marantz receiver - added much more bass and sounds great. Would recommend for music.

It's not huge and it doesn't make huge clean bass but it does add some oomph to a beat. I ended up wanting more for music and got a rhythmik.

Great sub for the price! Hits hard and has low end for the movies. I would say for music it sounds ok, better suited for Dolby Atmos and Dts systems while watching 4K blu ray movies.

Good quality subwoofer. Kind wish it had a remote control to be able to turn the power on and off and adjust the volume but it does have those controls on the unit itself just have to use them manually.

Excellent base sound. Does not sound tinny but very rich sounding. Placed behind my entertainment system and bouncing off wall in corner. Good sound there but no easy access to adjust controls if I had to.

Easy set up. Has volume control on the sub comes in handy for different types of movies. Sounds great , small size fits almost anywhere. Very happy about purchase.

Replaced a 10 yr old Definitive Supercube 3 that finally died. Outstanding base response, adds a punch to movies, games, and music. Definitive has great customer service!
