This subwoofer has great bass and power for it's size. If you are limited on space this is the subwoofer to get. I highly recommend this to anyone with limited space.

Purchased on black friday 2019. After breaking this box in for the past several months, I don't have any bad things to say. The set up was easy to hook into and the bass is easily controlled with a knob in the back. I've had house parties where this fills up all 2,000 sq ft of space by itself with thumping woofs and wobbles. I've also dialed this down to mid-way and it provides a solid addition to any game or movie I'm enjoying. I haven't ran into any muddling or crazy distortion while using this box so far, and I would recommend anyone to purchase this.

Replaced "suitcase" size subwoofer. This small subwoofer takes up much less space and has incredible lows without any distortion. Very easy to adjust. Can't believe the high quality of sound.

This sub produces a much better sound then you would initially think by looking at it. Deep sound fills a large sized room. Had the 800 prior to this, leaps and bounds ahead

Great sound, very compact - one simple connection in the back. Auto-power on an off. Design looks very sharp! - Just can't beat the sound. Great product.

I bought this subwoofer for my game room upstairs. All of my 7.1 speakers are definitive technology so i wanted my sub to be the same. I like the size of this sub as it is very small and produces very good bass. I like this sub more than my Polk 505 that I have downstairs. Its more punchy. I would like to get another supercube 2000 and run 2 of them upstairs. I paired my supercube 2000 with the Polk 505 off the same amp and ran dual subs for a little while but i was not impressed as the polk and the supercube dont respond the same so it didnt really sound that good. But Im pretty sure 2x supercubes would sound amazing. Highly recommend this sub but keep in mind i would not probably by this for very large rooms. You would need to step up a size or two for larger rooms.

I got this from BB at the current sale price. It's got super looks and is small, so it is easy to place. Hookup was very simple and fast. You turn its volume control half way up and connect an RCA cable to the low level sub out from a receiver. Finally, it adds real oomph to my base and I could adjust it with the receiver's LFE controls so that it sounds like my bass is comming from large speakers with 12 inch woofers instead, instead of my 6.25 inch bookshelf speaker mid ranges.

About 2 months ago i bought this SW. It looks very sleek and matches my TV's black piano color so well. The bass effect is so good and this is exactly what I was looking for - compact - powerful and in budger

This is a great sounding subwoofer that delivers that punch you are looking for in a sub. Don’t let the small size full you, this can compete with the big boys and then some. You have to calibrate it manually to your preference and break it in for a few hours to achieve that oh so sweet bass. Perfect for music and this sub definitely delivers while watching films. This sub finally completes my all Definitive Technology speaker setup and they compliment each other nicely.

Best subwoofer for standard home application ever! Too bad Definitive has discontinued this item. It is small, stylish and 650W(!) - which is incredible power. Maybe BestBuy can use some influence to get Definitive to reconsider and start production again. There is no similar woofer at 10" and this kind of power that I am aware of.

The supercube 2000 puts out deep base. I replaced my 12" JBL with the Supercube after it went out on me. Went to Best Buy and the rep demonstrated several speakers for me including the Supercube 1000. As I was about to purchase the 1000, a different rep walked in and asked if I had listened to the 2000. He demonstrated it for me and I was sold. I couldn't belive so much base could come out of a small speaker in such a small box. I had never heard of the Supercube until then. Solid base, no rattle, good for movies, TV watching and music.

This sub is a very powerful, but very small package. Don't let its small size fool you, the bass is deep, effortless, and strong. As a matter of fact, I needed to turn down the subwoofers volume to balance it to the rest of the system. All in all, I'm quite impressed with the performance. But it should be noted, it only has a LFE input, so it can only be used in surround systems with a receiver or system using a LFE subwoofer output.

The Def Tech SuperCube 2000 provides excellent bass for my Sonos system. The sound is great and the bass shakes the windows and floors. Great for a medium to large room. The volume does not have to be over half to get quality sound.

Wow I did not expect such a powerful sound comes from such a small sw. I bought the svs 2000 sealed sw and I was not happy about it. I like booming sound from movies that I can feel like I am at a movie theater. The sealed svs sw did not give me that. This sc 2000 gives me what I need. It also compliments well with the rest of my DT speakers (4 towers and a center speaker). I am thinking of getting the sc 4000 as well for my system.

Had a Best Buy In-Home Advisor come for a free estimate and proposal for upgrading the surround sound in my great room. This is the Subwoofer that was in the proposal. (upgrade included new in- ceiling speakers. center channel speaker and receiver. Had everything programmed into a new universal remote. Subwoofer is small and does not take up much space but boy does it pack a wallop in adding bass to the action movie scenes.

Bought this at a killer price last December after deciding my Kef Reference Ones and Denon receiver needed mo bass! I was in the A/V industry for 20 years (many years ago) so I consider myself somewhat picky. Def Tech has always had a pretty good rep in the industry to I decided to take a chance. I was hesitant because my main speakers are high end and I was worried the SC2000 wouldn't keep up. I hooked it up to the LFE out on my Denon and adjusted the receiver's crossover to match the sub and my Kefs. After a few days, testing it with my fave movies and music, I was blown away! While not what many would consider a true "audiophile" sub, this thing really does its job very well. I plan on adding a second SC2000 in the next couple of months to get an even more balanced sound in my room and make sure I don't inadvertently overwork the sub. This is just me being picky, though, because it fills my room very well for both movies and music. Would definitely (see what I did there?) recommend this sub!

For anyone looking to add a subwoofer in their living/family room (or bedroom?!?) and your spouse doesn't want to have a "huge ugly box" sitting there, this is the perfect choice. It has a crisp sound that is not too "boomy" like cheaper small subs often are. When I think about my previous computer speakers and the subs that they had which were of comparable size, this thing blow those out of the water! Don't get me wrong, this will not be able to stand up to a 12" or larger sub. But honestly, it sounds just as good as my Klipsch RW-10D down to about 30 Hz. Below that, you'll need a bigger driver to get the air displacement if you want to "feel the bass." However we just wanted to have well rounded sound and this delivers this beautifully. On top of it, it's small enough to hide away under a table/behind furniture/etc. If you choose to not hide it because you've done the subwoofer crawl and it sounds much better out in the open, the piano black finish is very pretty and is even "wife approved." The only thing I'd warn everyone about is the price...it is often on sale well below the $600 regular price (50% off for the last 2 black Fridays) so keep your eye out of significant discounts before buying it.
