Great addition to a Def Tech home theater setup. This thing is shaking walls every chance it gets (if you want it to of course). Highly recommend to anyone looking to add bass to their theater.

For its size this Subwoofer is top notch and the remote control is great

The customer service at Magnolia Best Buy was great with selecting this product. Worked out of the box and easy to set up. Maybe a tad too powerful for my home theater but dialed down, sounds great. Turned up, it rattles the walls.

BIG sound in a little sub because it has 3 speakers and 1200watts. It's a big improvement over 1 sub. 2 subwoofers fill the entire room and sound better than 1 sub.

This is the second one I purchased. I had one and it wasn't bad but I wanted more bass. With the second one hooked up, we had to turn it down because it was a bit much. Two will rock your room and rattle the pictures on the wall.

if you're looking for the most "BANG" for your buck, look no further than the Def Tech Supercube. These things are amazing in even large spaces.

These subs would definitely give you the best bang for your buck!! You’d never guess such a small box could kick out that much bass!! Definitely loved these subs...when they were working. I bought 2 Supercube 4000’s so I could put a sub in corners adjacent from one another to have the bass really fill up the room. They didn’t have them in stock at the store so we ordered online and when we brought them home, one of them sounded like the speaker was already blown, and the other kept turning on by itself so we had to keep it unplugged when we weren’t using it. We decided to exchange them, and with the second set we ordered one of them worked at first, but the next time we tried to use it to watch a movie, the display read “ON”, but there was no sound coming from it nor could I control it with the remote. The other of the second pair had the same issue with turning on by itself and we’d have to keep it unplugged when we weren’t using it. We were really bummed because these HIT HARD and even the low-end bass sounds awesome for the price!! Unfortunately, we decided to return them because every single one of the four we bought were defective. I’m not sure if it’s just the 4000 that has had problems, but it’s on sale again for cheaper than what we had initially paid for them. We’re thinking of possibly investing in a pair of the 6000, or downgrading to a pair of the 2000. One thing is for sure, the neighbors were complaining about the pair of 4000 shaking the walls, and that’s the only complaint I’d ever consider a compliment LOL!! When you’re spending $700/sub, you definitely want to be confident that they’re not going to give you issues down the line. We just didn’t feel confident enough in them to keep them.

I was amazed by the amount of bass that came out of this little package! Only down sized is that the mesh cover does tend to create a buzz / rattle sound under extreme volumes.

Really like the digital on/off, volume feature. blends in well with my built in surround sound system. For a unit of such small size, it provides enough bass for me at the 25% volume setting.

Great little sub for a setup requiring small space. Def Tech also provides great service if ever needed. The remote for the sub is also a cool little feature.

My third sub from Definitive Technology and I love it. Tight bass at a fair price (got it on sale). Recommend for sure!

We have not had a subwoofer for a few years. This unit completes our system and it is wonderful. Forgot how much we missed having one until we heard this one. We are very satisfied with the unit. LOVE IT!!

Really resounding bass from a relatively small sub, this is my second supercube 4000 for my home theater and man they kick butt!

I previously had an FRP series velodyne and frankly I found it muddy. I want a subwoofer to be good for movies first and this one is, it is tight and tuneful, with no extra sounds that aren't on the soundtrack. For pure movie listening you might want something different, but it certainly does films good justice in my rather small listening room. Right now I have it paired with a Marantz SR receiver, and speakers from Mirage and Paradigm Reference, and it works well with them.

Impressed with overall sound and build quality. Does not get as deep as larger enclosures but sounds good with both movies and music

Oh my, this thing just thumps my whole living room. Already had complaint from my neighbor.

I listen to a lot of music so I think the 6000 or 8000 would be better for me. As far as movies go, this is all you need.

This thing pounds for the size! Very impressive. I would compare it to my Polk 12"

I picked this up as an open box. Originally bought the 2000, but move up to the 4000. This is a great sub that fills the room with bass.
