I find that almost all speakers these days have a very sterile, digital sound. Not these. They have a rich warm sound, just the way I like my music. The built-in wireless technology allows me the freedom to listen to my favorite music apps, or any music I want from my computer, including CDs. Just plug in the power chord and I'm ready to go. The Definitive Technology support is a serious plus! They really go above and beyond if you have any questions. My only knock is the fact that you can't control the tone. I think that would be a nice touch. They are expensive, but I haven't heard any other speakers that I would rather have.

Great sound from speaker. You must set it up on wi-fi, could be some problems with that ( if you normally use wi-fi at home for data use on phone or tablet ). Needs to be more apps to stream music from like Sirius. In the end it's all about where you play your music from.

The sound is amazing. If your wi-fi signal is not strong in variance to the location of the speakers you may run into issues. Otherwise, you shouldn't have problems and can use the D-app to run all your other music apps thru the speakers.

Good sound for a satellite speaker. WiFi Connection issues surfaced when syncing with the Micro-bar DL system between the 2.5 and 5 Ghz connections. Frustrating initial setup and no help from DL Customer Support.

These speakers not only look great, they sound great as well. Bass is really impressive, esp considering the size of these things. No regrets!

The speakers sound good. I like that I can turn them into surround system, but when try to just use them as individual speakers, they don’t work. It seems that the two speakers can’t do both, surround and radio play.

Connection to the home wifi was a little challenging. It took several attempts. The iPhone app is ok but it could be improved. I will be using it mainly as a patio speaker.

Need to listen to know the difference.. Will have connectivity issues sometimes, if you overlook that it’s the best..

Title says it all. You get what you pay for. However, I do wish the Definitive app was higher quality. For the price you pay for these speakers, it should really be much better. This is where Sonos has Definitive beat in my opinion. Other than that, you aren't going to get better sound quality from a speaker in this segment if you ask me. I use these as wireless rear surround sound speakers with my Definitive sound bar. This also has some issues, but nothing you can't manage.

I purchase two of these and then after I heard them, my wife suggested I purchase two more as well as the WAmp for our outdoor wired speakers. They all sound amazing with more sound and quality that you would ever expect from such a small speaker. I did have some router issues but with the great customer service from DefTech, I was able to reboot my router and everything worked perfect. WiFi Play is much better than bluetooth and this will soon be the standard for wireless streaming or playback.

Bought two of these speakers and the simulated surround sound is almost disturbingly good. With the sound bar and woofer in front and these two speakers in the back of the living room, it's like watching TV in a movie theater. Movies are amazing but even broadcast shows over an indoor antenna sound better. Geek Squad set this up and properly balanced the sound. We';ve had wired surround for 15 years but this is much better and there are no wires run to each speaker.

This little speaker does a nice job although I wish it did more. It is similar to the Bose Mini. It is absolutely worth $199 that I paid. I would not be happy if I paid $399.

W7 Wireless Speakers have excellent sound quality and an easy set-up. Great for any audiophile.

We have three of these speakers and a W-Studio sound bar. I love how you can program groups to have music playing in the sections of the house you are in. We have the app on our phones and used the free DTS PC software (only free if you registered the sound bar online with Definitive). Overall a great product for small to medium sized rooms.

For the size this is a good sounding speaker. Keep in mind this is a play-fi speaker so there are things that come with that. Look it up

I bought the sound bar plus subwoofer and I loved it. So, I decided to add a pair of wireless speakers, which created a perfect sound. Very much recommended it.

Amazing sound from such a small speaker! And the bass...sounds almost like a subwoofer!

Bought couple of them. Pretty happy with that. My suggestion better to go with 5.1 you can see lot of difference while watching a movie.

Great sound and easy setup. Love having access to speakers in multiple locations.

I now have three of these speakers along with one of the W-Studio sound bars. We absolutely love the quality and convenience of this setup. We have the speakers throughout our house and use the different zones we have created depending on what we are doing around the house. The only thing we are missing in our setup is the W-Adapt to play the same content on our full surround sound system.
