This is a real review, I was not paid to place it. I have had an Inspiron with an i7 processor for almost a year. I can't stand it. It's the battery. I always have to have it plugged in. Battery life for an i7 is less than 3 hours. I just charged the battery for 10 hours and getting 2-3 hours. I attached a recent picture with 2hr 22m at 98% battery charge. Every other laptop in this price range is getting better. When I could find no battery life specs, Best Buy promised 4-5 hours, anything to sell one I guess. Customer support is also terrible, as I am blocked from emailing and chatting with whatever foreign county is a pain. The language barrier makes it impossible to get your issue understood. I am getting no help.No more Dells!

I bought this laptop in a good deal. The box was opened so I was able to negotitate the price a little bit.

I needed this machine to replace another brand that would not work with a new battery in it but would with the old one. I have had Dells before with good service and so far this one is not disappointing me. I'm still on the fence about Win 8/8.1 but I am slowly getting it configured to the way I want it. A couple of my programs don't like Win 8 but that was to be expected. Overall my Dell is doing well and I do not regret buying it.

There is a great difference between Windows 8.1 and previous versions. There should be some way to make this easier to use. Although I have had several Dell desktops and one other laptop, I feel that this particular laptop should have come with some sort of instruction manual to point out its various features. I could not figure out how to attach my internet cable. Who knew that you had to pull down the bottom part of the USB port.

This was literally the best computer I had ever had. Professional appearance. Extremely fast, customizable, worked for gaming and my masters program. Still works today!.

Very happy with my new Dell computer. I had to go to another Best Buy to get the answers I needed before making purchase.

Great laptop, I bought it for my cousin and I had the chance to use it a little bit before I gave it to him, screen is really good, easy to use and very well built.

I am currently a college student and I needed a laptop for finishing college as well as a future career in finance. This laptop meets both requirements. It processes really fast. The screen size is very big. I am happy with the sound quality. The touch pad screen is easy to use.

I have always been a fan of Dell laptops and this one does not disappoint. Love the I7 and ram ratio price point..

Not fond of windows 8. Suppose it'll take some getting used to. My last dell made it 9 year until support for xp was no longer offered. Great computer and the help picking it was exceptional as well

Would recommend to anyone looking for a travel computer. It is very fast and with a 1 TB drive lots of room for backup.

We purchased this for my husband and he likes it very much. Had to get used to touch screen since this is the first laptop he has had with touch screen. Very easy to get used to using it.

This laptop offered all the elements I was looking for and at a very affordable price.

I really wanted to like this pc, but the I7 did not make a huge difference from the I5. Also the cooling fan is louder than I expected and also annoying at times.

Pretty excited about the Touch-Screen feature. Laptop for College student so doing well so far. Hope it goes the distance!
