This laptop is good for everyone. But it's too heavy.

Does everything I needed it to do and much more. I needed a laptop that would help manage a busy real estate business. It's large screen and easy portability make it perfect for my needs. The processor is extremely fast and the monitor is crystal clear. I love the black case with red accents.

Everyone at the store was friendly and patient as the shied us the products. Helped us get a good deal on the computer as well as setting up it. Geek squad was also very helpful and set up our computer so it was easy to use. Transferred info from our old one in a timely manner.

Can't complain about the dell. Works great. Fast and light.

What drew me to this laptop was the graphics card and the other specs. I needed this for making videos and gaming, and this laptop delivers on both. The price point was good and the quality is better. It's a sturdy but not too heavy laptop.

Good laptop and performance for the purpose I need it

I am able to crank up settings to full on 95% of my current game library and get a great experience. And most important is the SSD! It is so amazing unbelievably fast startup!

Great laptop. Fast boot and excellent keyboard feel. Would have been better with an SSD drive, but for the price I can't complain.

I've always had cheap laptops, but since I played pc games, I thought I'd upgrade. Seeing graphics on high after always putting it on low makes it seem like a whole new game!

I recieved this laptop on 11/2/2016. I have tried downloading java multiple times and the screen dissapears and never finishes downloading. I tried playing Fallout 4 but the game crashes upon launch. I tried downloading Guild Wars 2 but the downloader keeps crashing.

great laptop for students and the "beginner" gamer

I've used this computer for 3 months without a single problem, I use it to edit video in Sony Vegas, it plays Skyrim on ultra settings, and it starts up in 12 seconds, so it's pretty much awesome, oh yeah and it's under $1000, so it's THE best deal your going to find. If you don't care about gaming buy a different computer, but if you need a powerful graphics card and don't want to skimp on the processor and hard drive, this is the one. You basically save money not paying for an optical drive, a fancy aluminum frame, or a 4K screen (the 1080p is beautiful), and get more of the stuff that actually matters. Down to the specifics, rendering 1080p video uses about 65% of the processor (it's a QUAD core i7 turbo boosting to 3.5 ghz), Playing Elder Scrolls on Ultra it runs an average of about 30 fps, it does stutter some times, but its not just playable, it's smooth. The computer has 8gb of RAM, everyone wants 16gb, but if you're buying a $1000 computer you probably rarely use 5. The screen is nothing special but its Full HD and evenly lit by LED, The battery is superb, the speakers are pretty good, and the computer has a built in system wide equalizer which coupled with the Realtek HD audio chip makes for some great sound through headphones, the keyboard is perfect and everything is made of nice plastic. This is a great computer at a better value, with just the right specs for an all around great experience.

I bought the laptop on sale for 949.99. It is a work laptop, so the I7 processor and 8 Gb (upgradeable to 16) is great. My boss allows me to take it home and it literally plays MOST games at ultra and can also handle my UHDTV 4k @ 60hz, 1080p @ 120 hz. My co workers are jealous of the fact that it takes 3 seconds to boot and not have to wait 30-40 seconds to just get to the desktop. Only once has this laptop crashed and i had to reset it. But with any electronic it is bound to happen, nothing is perfect. This laptop is pretty close to it though.

Very pleased with my purchase, was looking for a good quality laptop for no more than 1K and doing two weeks of research. Quick response, ease of use, love the keyboard and sturdy build without being too heavy. Very happy with getting the most technology for the money - 128SSD along with the 1TB HDD was a great deal as well as a 1 year antivirus plus warranty. Just noticed it is on sale for $50 cheaper!! Also, noticed it was not available at my local or nearby stores, ordered online and came in 2 days as promised.

I bought this laptop from another website but it is definitely worth to recommend. Extremely fast, can play any game.

The processing power and storage are great but the laptop is really heavy. Heavier than my last 15" laptop that has a cd/DVD which this one doesn't. Also the keyboard is pretty uncomfortable. The part where your wrist rests is really too wide. The mouse pad is too slippery.
