Q: Can this be used as a DVD player?
A: This laptop does not have a DVD drive.
Q: Can anyone tell me if the ssd drive can be upgraded from 128gb to like 256gb or 512gb?
A: There is a panel underneath the laptop that you can remove with one screw. In there is an open slot where you can add another SSD of about any size you want. If you upgrade the 128GB drive you will need to copy your current drive to the new one.
A: It comes with 8GB and can be updated to 16GB. There are 2 slots total. There is only one slot taken up by a single 8GB chip so adding another 8GB chip is a snap.

A: I just purchased this laptop on Best Buy online. I couldn't get in-store pick up but am getting it delivered free in two days!
Q: Is the battery for this laptop built or not ?
A: The battery is built in but accessible from the bottom panel along with the solid state, hard drive, the wireless card, and the RAM. There is one screw on the bottom panel you have to remove to gain access to these items.
