    Bought this for my son who is starting on his computer engineering degree. Love the combination of HD and SSD on this model and the discrete graphics card. More than enough power for everything (he is not doing any serious gaming but I would expect it would be fine for that as well). No issues after 5 months of use so far. I did expand the memory to 16 GB. Probably not truly necessary, but for the small cost I don't have to worry about it either.
