Replacing my old 18" LCD Dell monitor. Well the tech to make these obviously has gotten better. Nice glass screen and easy to keep clean. You will have glare from windows in the room. You need to use the HDMI cable to get the speakers that are built in to work, figure my next PC upgrade will take care of that. I went to the Dell website and downloaded the software first before hooking this thing up. If you are setting up without upgrading just put in the disk and follow instructions and you will be fine.

I'm really happy with this monitor I paired with my Macbook 12". I was originally looking to buy the Apple Lightingbolt display but after finding out it was not compatible; I started looking at alternatives. One option not yet tested was to buy and older Cinema display and get a USB-C to Mini Displayport adapter. Then I saw the Dell S2715H at staples and promptly checked that Best Buy had it was well. Best Buy price matched the staples price. One of the best thing about this display is the very small bezel and screen itself. it perfectly matches my space grey Macbook and I got it for about 1/4 the cost of a new Lightingbolt display. Very happy I chose to go with the S2715H. There are new and higher res monitors you can get but for what I plan on using it for, I did not need it.

I use the screen with my laptop and I feel like the words on the screen are blurry. I am not satisfied with the product. Also, there is a glare or reflection on the screen.

I love the dell monitor but not how the Best Buy staffs executed and handled the situation, I bought the open box but to my surprise, not all the parts are inside the box. so I wont be able to use and have to return. The box says everything complete and inspected but still missing the major parts. I was promised the "inconvenience discount of $50" but was not applied towards the new unit I purchased. This is really inconvenient. Best Buy management, please look into this and I should be given credit.

Monitor is bright but is crippled by low refresh rate and low max resolution.

this thing had less than a month and it died on me. i even had it connected to a surge protector and still this died. if it wasn't for me being an elite member i would've lost 250 bucks...dell brand ..never again

So I was looking for a 27in monitor for my pc rig, I play video games (Lol, HOTS, SWTOR, rocket League and sometimes csgo) and I also handle a lot of photo/design/video editing, I saw this one at the store and it looked amazing, after reading some reviews I was convinced ! now the screen does have a glossy finish, but I really hate the anti glare coating in screens, since my room is always dark I knew I didn't have to worry about any reflections, although even when their is light it's still more than usable. The 6ms isnt the greatest for gaming, but I don't consider myself a hard core gamer, and after having this for more than a month I've had zero issues with it when I'm playing. For photo/design/video it's Amazing as well, I probably appreciate this monitor more than I should but I upgraded from a 5 year old dell monitor that I was using lol

OMG i love this monitor. I've been gaming since computers came out and was using a 32" at 1920x1080. It recently died and i looked at many different options and decided on this Dell. WOW what a picture and the monitor looks modern and sleek. Its only 1920x1080 aswell and some would like higher resolution, but i love it. The blacks are a deep pure black and the whites are white. It's very easy on my eyes like looking at a picture. My gaming experience went up 1000% and watching Netflix is great too. Can't believe how much 1 monitor can make you smile.

This is one of the best budget monitors I've ever owned. It has awesome viewing angles. The colors are not quite as crisp or accurate as a mid/high range monitor but they're not nearly as washed out as many other low end monitors. The stand is amazing and adjusts well and looks great. the bezels are great, and the screen is very bright. Overall an amazing value.

This is an excellent monitor with great color and clarity. Very easy to set-up. The picture quality is A+ with a rich, glossy display. Great monitor at a great price. I highly recommend this product.

very nice monitor. i am loving it. i thought it is too much glossy but actually not..this is an awesome product. you can ignore the quality of the speaker coming with it. i dont care. apart from that this is awesome IPS monitor

I bought mine to replace an older Dell 19" square flat panel monitor. This is my first widescreen and I like it. My games look good. The glossy screen is nice and doesn't bother me except for when it's off and I have to look at myself. It's very much like your cell phone or tablet... like a big mirror. Otherwise, I think it's great and got it for $199.99 + $19.99 for the insurance. That's the most I would recommend paying... or less. However, if you have an older Dell XPS from 2010 like I do, be advised that the HDMI cable may not work. My computer had the port for it, but it didn't do anything so I didn't have any sound or picture with the HDMI. I had to use the VGA cable for the picture which Dell does not include. Thankfully, my old monitor used one. Also, I had to buy a 3.5mm Auxiliary Audio Cable and connect it from the back of the monitor to the back of the computer in order to get sound. And Dell does not include that in the package either. In summary, if you have an older computer, you might need a VGA Cable and 3.5mm Auxiliary Audio Cable.
