It was about time that I brought our PC out of the stoneage. My husband gave me a list of minimum requirements (gsnyc, 27", no 4k display etc) and left the rest to me. After reading some reviews I decided upon this model. It provides a bright display, wide viewing angles and with gsync, works great with the NVidia graphics card. Visually, it gives us everything we wanted. We know in a few years when PC's and graphics cards get enough power to drive everything at 4k (or 5k) resolution that this display will be somewhat outdated but for now it provides everything we need. Even better was that it was on sale and had a nice discount!

This Dell 27 inch monitor is not only great for gaming due to its 144hz refresh rate, but is really good for every day tasks also. It is easy to set up, and looks good directly out of the box. If you do not mind spending a little bit of time calibrating the monitor it can go from good to great looking. The G-Sync feature from Nvidia is most likely going to be what draws most to this monitor, and is works perfectly here. If you're interested in this monitor for gaming features and want a high refresh rate with g-sync, this is a good choice.

If your eyesight is failing...or you don't want to miss a single detail, this monitor is perfect. The size is not to big for a desk and the color is brilliant.

I bought this along with an overclocked GTX 1070 when I updated my mediocre gaming PC. Gsync is amazing and everyone is absolutely correct - once you do it you'll never go back to older, slower monitors. I can echo everyone else regarding the colors and viewing angles - this TPN panel has got to be one of the best TPN panels ever made. Excellent colors and viewing angles, no light reflection and all with a beautifully thin, minimalist bezel. I nabbed mine one sale for $300!! Bargain town!!! Seriously, don't overpay for some crazy overpriced IPS panel if you're just gaming - this Dell monitor has it all for a great price.

I was looking for a gaming monitor that had G-sync capabilities, but also at a decent price. I had this on my wish list, and luckily my patience paid off. BB had this on sale at around 40% off list price. I would advise anyone who is looking to buy this, to wait until it goes on sale again. As far as performance goes, it's been fantastic, paired with my GTX 1080. No dead pixels or light bleeding. The only minor annoyance is the buttons. They are stiff and I'm not sure why they put it on the bottom of the monitor as opposed to the front, like my Dell work monitor.

I bought this monitor to pair with my GTX 1080 and it performs incredibly well at 1440p 144 Hz. I was worried about the color banding issues I have heard with older versions but I didn't see any of that with this newer revision. Colors are overall solid but not quite as good as my IPS monitor. I didn't notice any screen tearing whatsoever playing games like Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty at 144 Hz. If you're looking for a solid 1440p 144 Hz monitor with G-Sync that won't bust the bank, this is it. It also goes on sale fairly often which is the time when you should grab it!

This monitor is great and takes advantage of my new video card with the gsync technology. The reresh rate is also top notch plus was great price on sale.

Dell makes a great monitor for gaming at a more affordable price. Great color for a TFT display with quick gaming response. Thin bezel for multi-monitor set up.

For the process $350 on sale you really cant beat that 1440p 144hz Refresh rate for me it was great comp FPS games run smooth and looked great no issues

1440p gaming changes everything. Sure you can buy a 2080 graphics card but you can’t truly see its greatness without a stellar monitor. This monitor has everything. Great color, non-reflective display, G-Sync, 144 hz refresh rate...I have no complaints. And it’s highly adjustable so you can position it exactly how you want it. I can’t say enough good things about it. It is a MUST BUY if upgrading your graphics card on PC.

Great monitor. Saw it previously online and wasn't impressed, but after seeing it in person I was stunned. Great colors and when you game with an Nvidia GPU it just rocks everything. I'm averaging 114 FPS with no issues what so ever. Loving it. I give this 4/5 starts, because the first monitor I got had half green screen within 24 hours of purchase and had to return it; the replacement has not let me down yet though. I also only give it 4/5 stars, because for using with HDMI on anything that isn't with a Nvidia GPU it doesn't hold up well. I have an XBOX connected to HDMI and I can see ghosting and issues with colors left and right. Not bad enough to make me not want to use it for gaming on all devices, but bad enough to not be a perfect 5 star monitor.

I use this monitor for both working (Macbook Pro through HDMI port) and gaming (desktop through display port) and it performs very well in both. The adjustability of the stand is great. I'm not sure if the monitor is worth $600 though (I got it for $480): - Only 1 HDMI and 1 DisplayPort inputs - It doesn't like waking up from sleep, it often says "entering power save mode" even when there's an input, resulting in me switching it off at the wall and back on - The audio port has a constant buzz/whining - I have 3 dead pixels within a month, but despite being a "gaming" monitor, it's not covered by Dell's Premium Panel Guarantee

I will always take 1440p g-sync instead of 4k 60Hz. The difference is night and day. If you have nVidia 10-series GPU, this monitor is a must to have. Color is good once calibrated, definitely best TN panel in the market.

short and sweet 1440p 1 millisecond response time 144 Hertz can't go back to 1080p after using this monitor games pop without losing too much performance or resolution performance 2 resolution 1440p is the best way to go is this TN panel the best route it's beautiful the viewing angles could be a little better but still very viewable from the sides colors at times seemed be washed out a little and then other times oversaturated this one features g-sync so it cost you $ more regardless of the extra cost ridiculously smooth gameplay however I couldn't recommend it for the price although best TN 1440 144 refresh rate panel I've ever used so I would recommend it but not for the price

Great monitor. Got it on sale. It was a $500 monitor that I got for $350. It’s 1440p and 144hz with g-sync. I use it for gaming and it’s pretty impressive.

Got it on sale for a steal. Best gsync 1440p monitor you’ll find for less than “gaming” monitors. Time a second one!

Excellent monitor for high refresh rate gaming. The colors are great after some adjustment. You should consider getting this monitor if looking for an upgrade!

There are quite a few settings that some monitors do not have - however, mine was quite old - you can change the the brightness for adjusting your eyes - not just like up and down light adjustment but adjusts the colors. The refresh rate is excellent for gaming - no problems with lag / glitches etc. Adjusting the font is a neat aspect too. I have had this monitor for a few months now... zero problems but had to get used to the size... other monitor was 23" - did not think it would be that big of a deal but it was lol

Overall, pleased with my purchase. Got it for a good price and best buy offers nice rewards program too. Only reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 is the power supply in the monitor seems to have a slight buzz / hum when the monitor is on. I can't hear it over my PC fans though, so I guess it doesn't bother me too much. Otherwise, panel itself is great, colors are excellent after some quick adjustments (FAR better than my old BenQ XL2420Z; see other posts or search for recommended settings), no dead pixels, g-sync is a nice feature, but not $500-700+ nice. Next I will need to upgrade my graphics card to handle more frames @ 1440p!!! Speaking of, everyone says 1440p @ 27" is a sweet spot, and I couldn't agree more.
